    Hannah thats 12:31 mins/mile :D

I see your training run last week was a little faster - were you tired this week or was it nerves on the day? Its all good experience though - I'm still learning race technique after a year of running ;)

Thanks Becky, its been a weird week. I have been stressing about the run all week but felt much happier once I was waiting for the race starter.
With the trainning run, I felt that I set out to fast and struggled with it later on so I had decided to try and keep a steadier pace for the race and I think I managed it x

Simply - Your powers of recovery arent too shabby! How are you feeling about Abingdon now with 3 weeks to go?

    Nice running Rich :D

I feel much more relaxed about Abingdon now funnily enough - I think that resting for 3 days (and my greatly reduced mileage) gave me a taster of what I'm going to feel like after tapering. I felt really relaxed up to 15 miles and could probably have carried on after 17 - I was just worried about overdoing it after feeling so rough for the last few days. It was a very enjoyable run!! :T

Hannah - well done on your first 10k; that's a huge achievement. _party_ :T _party_ :T

I have to say I waited a long time after taking up running to do my first race - about 5-6 months so I am so in awe of your attitude Hannah and how much progress you've made in such a short time :D

Simply - I love that feeling - its great when the tapering starts to show and it starts to feel effortless again...exciting!!
