Lovely conditions this morning, cool and dry but sunny.:D

The run turned out to be a bit of a consolidation type affair - felt very strong but unable to tap into the available speed due to the two long efforts this week. All building quite nicely though.

Becky ran approx. the same time as 2 weeks ago, in the region of 25:40, and is very pleased with that considering the speedwork this week.:D

Good luck at Swansea tomorrow, Hannah and Idio, and hope the half goes well at Windsor, Krider!:D

Uk - try to concentrate on the running rather than the moshing!:p

Simply- hope you feel better soon :-)
Blakey1982 - would suggest going and getting trainers from a store where they can watch you run etc, sometimes a little more expensive but def worth it. Good luck for half not- sorry no advice on training but sure someone alse will be able to help :-)
    Becky- your pic is brill
20miles for me this arvo (or thats the plan!) Hate running afternoons but its my dd2 birthday tomorrow and out ofr the day so no chance of fitting it in. Only 3 weeks to go

Thanks Rich - combination of looking forward to it and being nervous about doing it (despite the fact I've done loads of runs that distance or over now) :o Hoping the 1.5 mile-ish uphill start will keep me sensible on pace and allow me to run the rest fine. And hoping for an autumnal nip in the air to go with the sun :p

Did a 2.5 mile this morning at 10:04 pace to loosen the legs up. Thought long and hard about going out today but often my Tuesday runs are better after a run the day before so decided to do a small easy run to get the blood flowing.

Good luck also to Idio and Hannah :D

Hope the buglets disappear soon Simply. Seems to be a bunch of it around at the moment. Three colleagues had colds this week - I've been trying very hard to not get one before Sunday!

Enjoy the LSRs people - will probably not be on until late tomorrow or Monday given a 1pm start time, and reported congestion on leaving the parking area if you don't give it a couple of hours to - handily can walk into Windsor from there :)
  • Well done on the new PB, Bj!:D

Nice bit of symmetry there - you breaking your PB by 8 secs and hubby by 6 secs!
