Hello Hypno welcome back :hello:
You don't know this but you were one of the people that inspired me to get out running when I was lurking on this thread early this year - so thank you!!!
By the way take no notice of Uk - just chuck some fruit and nut his way, that'll keep him quiet. :rotfl:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
Hi Simply!!
Do you really think that if I had a bar of fruit and nut about my person, I would be prepared to share it with anyone else, yet alone someone who may or may not (still trying to work that one out!) insulted me
:rotfl:
I've not kept up with this thread whilst AWOL, but I assume you are all uber athletes by now............Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hmm, I see what you mean - actually how likely is it than any of us would have fruit and nut just sitting around? A definite no, no
You will find a few uber athletes on here - I'm not one of them I'm 'consistent' :rotfl::rotfl:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

Wow, you have all been busy since I last logged on.
Rich my official time for 1/2 on sunday was 2.11.01 can you also add New Years Eve 10km for me to list.
Alias and Becky I hope you are both starting to feel better?
Pickle- I am so impressed that you went along ( I haven't even been brave enough to go along to the local running club!) - well done :-)(Family of 5: 2 adults & 3 children aged 7yrs, 4yrs, and 18months)0 -
Managed 10.75 miles on Sun didn't push too hard, no hurting just tired afterwards took me 2 hrs 20 mins so think my aim of 2hr 30 for GNR a bit ambitious but we'll see
Smetf
Hi Smeft, I'd be well happy with a GNR time of 2hr 30, but after my run last night I'll be happy to get under 3 hrs. I'm guestimating my time will be 2hrs 50 :T
Actually I'll be happy to get across the finish line cos that means I'll have done it!!!Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0 -
WELL HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO
Hi! so I'm back, had a few things to sort out with dh nothing major but I think we were exhausted from kids, working, worrying about no job/now definitely staying, running and money worries in general. We had a good chat over a few beers and sorted out a lot of things.
Work has changed for me quite a bit, went in on Monday to find out that I am now teaching 3 full days a week plus still have some candidates to go out and see on the other 2 days! So I'm not able to run until Tom (baby) goes to bed at 7pm.
Anyway back to the running, I won't bother with last week and just start from yesterday.
Mon 14/9 5 miles - no time
Tue 15/9 5 miles 51:18 (10:14/mile)
I have read most of the posts but terrible memory so well done, get well soon and welcome back Hypno pretty much covers it!0 -
