Wow, it's been busy on here today
The photos have been put on line for Sunday's Half so I thought I'd share them with you - they tell quite a story. Please feel free to laugh out loud - I won't be offended as I won't hear you.

Rich - when my gait was being analysed the other day the chappie going through the video with me picked up on my 'not deformed' right leg (his words not mine) and suggested that I do strengthening exercises for it. My right leg has always been what I term as bandy and this can be seen clearly in one of the photos taken near the end of the race when I was extremely tired.
Can you suggest any exercises that I can do to help strengthen it?
Uk - will you eat my breakfast for me on Sunday please? It's only 18 miles and that way I can stay in bed. :rotfl:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
Simply - I cant see anything out of the ordinary there. But then again I dont think anybody is completely symmetrical and therefore 'normal' probably doesnt exist.
If there are oddities in the skeletal make up the chances are that the body has already sussed out how to make the appropriate allowances to even things up again. To try messing about with this seems like a recipe for creating injuries but thats just my opinion.
I have a bent right leg that kicks out to the side slightly, but I had absolutely no idea until I was videoed head on in a race - so I reckoned if I hadnt noticed up until then, then it couldnt be doing a lot of harm.:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

This 'rest' week is going pretty well so far.:D:D
Its actually presented a good opportunity to do a little bit of experimentation to see what is in the legs when tired before setting out - so far looks not too bad.:D:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Thanks Rich - I knew that I kicked my leg out slightly when running because my OH had pointed it out but hadn't really given it much thought until the chap in the shop mentioned it.
I'll leave well alone then.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

Been for a nice short run...am starting to feel better to be honest - not sure if the vitamins are helping but defo feel more awake today
Anyway it was very short but its nice and wet out...could have gone on for longer but was only out to test the waters really:
Tues - 2.75 miles in 23:59 8:43 mins/mile - actually felt reasonably easy but there are lots of traffic lights on this route so stopping/starting which means you can catch your breath so not a true run by any means...but put some magging doubts from Sunday to bed anyway - I am not unfit, just a bit unwell atm0 -
Simply - none of your photos look that bad to me! Just normal racing photos I'd say (everyone always thinks they look silly!)...the first one is nice with both feet off the ground0

Sounds promising based on how it felt.:D
Will be interesting to see how the next run goes......Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
