Getting excited about Loch Ness - but I'm only doing the 10K, not the marathon!

It looks like they're scraping the barrel this year in terms of guest starters:
Sting and Steve Harmison
Why? No connections to running as far as I can see and not particularly in the news for anything unless Harmison being in the Ashes squad that won an event with 2 entrants counts.:p

That's the first of three 10 mile runs completed; it's taking some getting used to running without music but after a few miles I found I wasn't missing it too much (too busy dodging children on their way to school).
