  • Some of us dont post from work ;) Its frowned upon :(

I agree 4 laps is far longer than a mile on the road. Probably why to date i've only ever done one mile race on the track. Not that i race miles. Too short tbh for me. Been known to take 4-6 miles merely to 'warm up' during a run before.

That was a very encouraging loosener - it suggests that there isnt going to be a repeat of the sluggishness encountered during the last taper for Blackpool.:D

So just a short final outing tomorrow and then ready for the big day.....

  • Nice gentle run tonight, hurting towards the end.

    Just over 8miles in 1hr 9mins..
  • Week 1/33 Devon 100
    Mon 7/9 Rest Day
Tues 8/9 Rest day (Well ok CBA day)
    Wed 9/9 6.67 Miles 01:05:28 (9:49/mile)

    Thur 10/9 Rest day
    Fri 11/9 7.18 Miles 01:11:08 (9:54/mile)

Was meant to be a nice easy run but i picked the pace up on the return mainly cos it was 7 before i went out and getting rather dark. Mile 7 was 8:30 which was pleasing as i had to barge through 20 odd youths who were ambling down the cycle track, as well as slow down to pass a couple of horses.

    Thu - 3/9 6m - 01:16:17 (12.43/m )
Sat - 5/9 - didn't get out for a run as we were doing a carboot sale and I didn't think my legs would go far!

    Week 10 -
    Mon 7/9 - 4m - 50:22 (12.35/m)
Thu - [STRIKE]4m[/STRIKE] - well that didn't go to plan as I had to run with baby in the pram but he wouldn't settle so I only ran just over a mile in 16mins and then had to carry him back to the car
Sat - 8m  ok plan is to get out for this run as soon as the kids get me up in the morning. I have felt quite down about my running this week as I don't feel like I have acheived but hoping that tomorrow changes that.
My legs have felt tired every day, I don't know if it is down to the running or the routine that we are doing in slimming/exercise class at the minute.
Following :money: to keep us debt free :j
