The problem I have is very few of my local races have places now unless you want pay through the nose and book months in advance...(or you win places of course

The conditions were perfect for running this morning; cool and sunny with a light breeze. A comfortable 8 miles and I'm happy that I've only missed one 6 mile run because of my cold this week.:D
Those threads on RW are frustrating aren't they - I was sooooooo disappointed at having to walk a very small distance in the half I did and can't understand why you would start a race knowing in advance that you were going to have to run/walk it.
Ooh, evab you crept in while I've been posting - well done and enjoy your wine. I'm just off to the pub where I might manage a beverage or two.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

Sat 29/8 - 5m - I am feeling nervous about this run tomorrow as it just seems like such a long way after I have mapped out my route on the other hand though, I am really looking forward to getting out there for the run as I have been housebound most of the week with my chicken pox boys!Following :money: to keep us debt free :j0 -
20 miles for me tomorrow morning. Last long run before my marathon in 2 weeks, although I'll be doing a 13+ mile run on Thursday and I've a 10 mile race next weekend which has a few hills thrown in to half kill me!
Hoping it's not too windy and humid.0
