  • Evening All - this thread moves fast these day doesn't it?

I've been lurking and nursing my germs - didn't want to pass them on to you so have kept low profile. :rotfl: I had an extra rest day yesterday and am feeling much better today so will get up and out first thing tomorrow morning - don't think I'll try tackling any hills though.

Good to see how quickly you're recovering these days Becky. :D

evab - hope your feet are ok tomorrow.

Umm, at the risk of showing my ignorance - what is a mosh pit????

Are we both in pen F then?
    Christ we sound like cattle.

I thought both numbers were in Pen F but just had a look and one is Pen F and one is Pen G. You can move backwards but not forewards so we'll both start in G!

    Moo!
Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.

Ok, I did a short 4 mile 'recovery run' tonight, I'll do a longer one on Friday night.

What's the difference between pens... udder size?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

2nd to last road race of the season completed today.

49mins 10 secs for the 5.8miles (unofficial distance).

A good start, leading to some chasing of people down thinking it was easy till i then remembered it was 2 laps of the circuit. Took most of my energy out of me so then had to press on and recover at the same time.

    Come 50th in the end...

    Results await..

Ah sorry Alias I thought it was close but couldnt remember the exact time - thats pretty darned good if you been working mornings and lates though!!

Oooo everyone - even more reason to get onto Parkruns - they do profiles for each runner onw even if you run across different events:
    http://www.parkrun.org.uk/AthleteResultsHistory.aspx?AthleteNumber=25570

That shows I was in very good shape in March and April and then shows the effect of having so much time off (29:34 ) and that I am now getting back into it!!

    Morning all!

Nice enough early morning run today in bright sunshine. :D

Strange pulse, though, despite feeling perfectly fine - will have to keep an eye on that. Maybe its just because I'm out of practise with these early morning starts!:p

Wow that is high for you!! Hopefully it might be from the shock of going from resting to exercise so quickly or it could be tiredness from Tuesday run??

    Good running though :D
