...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Lol Loch Ness might be £42 but you also get bussed to the start and a very very good goody bag

Loch Ness is about £38
This year will be my third time of doing it. Actually went for the food afterwards last year (didn't fancy anything to eat the first time I finished)and had a nice bowl of chili and rice with a bread roll etc....then off for a choccy milkshake and a full Sunday dinner.
London is £32 for unattached runners and from £28 upwards for club runners etc. Suppose the mass sponsorship helps a bit with costs there.
Got myself a nice fast race this evening and it's gale force winds outside. Going to be fun trying to run up hills with the wind inevitably hitting me full force in the face.0 -
Snowdon was £25 you get bused to start and a momento and aching legs!
I'm gonna get soaked today, miserable weather - oh well paths will be free of annoying dog walkers.0 -

Hi all, stopped raining so a nice pleasant evening. I taped up my feet and the right one was better but left still a bit achy. I'm gonna try the thin padded tape tomorrow to see if that's any better.
Mon 24/8 - working late
Tue 25/8 - 3.17 miles 32:38 (10:18/mile)
Wed 26/8 - 7 miles 1:17:34 (11:05/mile)0 -
Well done on the run on sore feet evab!!!
Hope the tape helps tomorrow.0 -
Ta becky, they're not too bad but want to get them sorted before I increase the mileage again.
I think you've definitely recovered from the weekend which is good to see x0
