Hi all,
Well I went for my long slow run on Sat, 15.87 miles according to the garminI was cruising along at 9-10 min/miles most of the way and got to 13.1 miles in 2:05:00 (5 mins longer than my half time) then my body couldn't take any more :rotfl: I walk/ran the last couple of miles but thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have a blister on my heel and my legs don't work now :rotfl: but it was good fun.
I'll going to have a week of 5-8milers, then have another go at the weekendDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Uk - I am soooo chuffed for you
You've put in loads of work and got your reward - just remember you are getting every closer to that magic 1:15 time so can you check with your club if you are England Atheletics registered please - I'd hate for you to run it and then still not be able to do London next year
Great great running, keep working and you'll be beating the 70 yr olds next

Morning all, and what a beautiful morning it is. Already been out for my little 4.2 miler this morning and feeling great. Decided not to push it this morning, just looked around taking in a wonderful day. Feeling on top of the world at the moment. Can you tell?
Raphael - well done on your long run yesterday. You did really well to be just 5 mins outside race pace on your training run. Did the long slow run give you insomnia by any chance?
Becky - good to see you. Bet you can't wait to get out there tomorrow.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Morning folks!
looks like there was some good running this weekend, personally i never even got my trainers onhow pants! Instead i spent the weekend getting sunburnt helping my OH's mum shop for a new car, then it was all hands on deck for a big family bbq including relatives from scotland, south africa, and toddlers with sticky fingers lol.
Oh the joy that is Monday morning, can you tell I haven't had any caffeine yet??? lolDebt@LBM1=£4050 1st DFD 27/08/09Debt @LBM2 =£14,469.97 2nd DFD 14/03/2018 :T

Morning everyone
I'm so sorry, but I let the side down yesterday. I did not make it to my 10k. I had been feeling poorly over the weekend, but I rested all day saturday hoping I would be good for yesterday, but unfortunately when I got out of bed I felt like I had been run over by you lot on one of your extra fast 1/2s, so I didn't go.
I'm hoping I'll be ok for Friday night's 5k
Uk fantastic time you did yesterday, well done, and well done to everyone else who went outToo much month, not enough Cash!
