OK. Picture me in army uniform with hands on hips:
GET MOVING, RED. YOU CALL THAT RUNNING? I KNOW YOU CAN GO TWICE AS FAR! PUT SOME EFFORT IN!

Morning, well great to see everyone has been out.
I went for a 8 miler avec hills. I decided to go out on the top road and to the second village along as it has many undulations. Legs were quite tired from yesterday but as always I can be stubborn and got into a nice rythmn.
Mon 10/8 7.05m 1:18:02 (11.04/mile)
Tues 11/8 8.04m (with hills) 1:3102 (11.19/mile) - 6 mins quicker than last 8 miler!0 -
I love a man in uniform, dh looks great in his!0

Well done Evab. Steady training there. Well done for tackling the hills. I like the bit about being stubborn. I'll remember that the next time I'm struggling at the start of a run. "Ya think I'm giving up? No WAY! I'm far too stubborn to do that!"Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Morning all
I see there are a few old faces on here from when I used to post. Just thought I would log on and let people know I am still going. Debt is now down to about £9000 I think and we have nearly saved enough as well to be able to pay it off, maybe next year.
My running was going brill, did the FLM in 4:33 and Plymouth Half in 1:54, then had a nightmare. I got run over by my own car, yep my own car. Handbrake slipped and tried to rescue it but legs ended up being caught between kerb and underside of car, resulted in me being dragged under and dragged about 10 yards. I was lucky though, had injuries to thigh and ankle, thigh required operation, muscle had ripped away from skin inside the leg and had to be repaired and ankle and elbow, had skin ripped down to the bone. Nothing broken though. Now some 10 weeks later I am back on the road, running up to 3.5 miles, puffing like a steam train but on the road back.
Hope everyone else is okey dokey and controlling their debts, enjoy
