Managed to get out tonight. Did 5.43 m in 52.56. Not fast by any standards, but after Saturday I have realised I need to get my base fitness back so I thought I would just run as I feel. I found it quite difficult to get into a steady rhythm and only managed it after about 3.5 miles. After that it got easier.
Right, it is late and I'm up early in the morning. Night all.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Well done on the running Alias, Evab and Chick - some good efforts there!
I did my favourite interval session this morning 12 x 400m with a mileish either side
So it was 9:34 warm up, avg 1:48, fastest 1:44 and 10:45 cool down...
Now the pattern becomes:
07/07 - 800m Avg 4:13 fastest 4:07
14/07 - 400m Avg 1:54 fastest 1:47
21/07 - 200m Avg 56 fastest 53
28/07 - 1m - Avg 8:03 fastest 8:00
04/08 - 800m Avg 3:55 fastest 3:51
11/08 - 400m Avg 1:48 fastest 1:44
Which has knocked 6 seconds off the avg from last time and 3 seconds of the fastest (there was more than one a 1:44 this time too!), definitely seeing the improvement from these sessions now0 -

I've been looking at that one for months, don't think I'll be ready in time though, would love to do it.. well, sort of love to and  at the same time!
Well the excitement of my new trainers and fear of the wrath of Beertins worked to get me out thereDid a little 2 miler last night and 3 miles at 6am this morning, both really slow but happy just to get out there. Bet I'm asleep by lunchtime :rotfl:

That shows really encouraging improvement there Becky. I really should get back to the track for some intervals but it is as much as I can just to get out of the door at the moment.Well done you!
