He was with one of the other runners just in front of that shot and gave her a bottle of water and was backing off - it does look a bit odd though :p

    Talking of stalkers:

Some of these photos are interesting in terms of what you were thinking at the time and what subsequently happened.

This was about 8.5 miles and I'd just closed this group down but was expecting that one or two had been gathering themselves ready for the final push. I wouldnt have been surprised if, once having reached them, I had been cut adrift again pretty shortly after.

But the only runner who had an impressive kick in that group of 4, bearing in mind that the last mile was 5:58, was the young lady who is just apparent by a bit of leg at the back.

    She was a great pacemaker!:D

400 down/350 to go Becky....you may have been caught again yet!:p

Well done on all the racing, guys.

Just done a gentle 9.2 (1:28) at lunch...Forgot I was running at around 11 today, though, when I scoffed two croissants - had terrible heartburn/indigestion/other grown-up complaint I seem to be developing but don't know the name for yet the whole way round - sucks to be me.

Really struggled this morning to knock out 3 miles, started off as normal though wearing trousers this time as i was out before 8am. As soon as the sun popped out that was it, about 2.5miles into it i was gasping for breath to overheating. Had to cut the 9mile run to 3miles. Not been out for 2 weeks, so i think there is a mental block to the running.

Might have to step up in stages, 3miles today, 4.5miles tomorrow, 6 miles wednesday and so on.

As with Alias my run started out chilly then turned into a hot afternoon, luckily I only had to take my waterproof off and was fine from then. Blooming GPS battery failed on me even though I asked dh to charge up

To follow a well used format my logs will look like this :D:

Mon 3/8 - 3 miles approx 32:00 coz GPS failed but I looked at the clock before I went out.
