Are you fairly new to the big smoke then, UK? I can definitely tell the difference between various areas in London and know where I would (and wouldn't) choose to live!

    Good luck with your training!!

It takes persistence and motivation to get going and time!!

Try and schedule in when you can run every week and as NIKE says "just do it".

You will soon see the benefits if you really want to run!!

Mode ( button ) - Training - workouts - intervals - time / rest time - select time box then select from options - then select rest time if you want - then select reps if you want - Done..

Hope that helps and is indeed what you want

Thanks for this, UK...Never really thought about trying to get the garmin to help with intervals...how handy!

Thank you! I'm motivated, and persistent - have had to be to lose 91lbs, I'm the equivalent of a reformed smoker now! Drive everyone mad, now I shall be updating them with the running progress! Exciting, new challenge, really think this could crack the last bit of weight loss for me.

    Thanks again everyone.

OK, thanks - will give this a go too. Easy when you know which menu eh! (or have a manual, which I don't!)

    Here you go: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/store/manual.jsp?product=010-00467-00&cID=142&pID=349 :)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
