That is some talent!
They are too busy reading what we all write on here.0 -
Its just a shame that its had to come this far, for some consumers and the dealership. I hope everyone manages to get their situation resolved efficiently.
- at least credit the chap with having the face to post on this forum. Not many garages would do that.
A few company directors have posted on here. They usually do it if they think their business will be affected! by the content of the posts.
Not impressed that he hasn't answered my question though and I made it bold so it would stand out0 -

Zoe and her X5:
We are currently working with Zoe to resolve all the issues with her vehicle and hope to close the matter within days. However we as A38 Direct Cars have not carried out any of the work on her vehicle as we use specialist garages for this. We did collect her car from the outset and left her with another vehicle to use. This is not common practise and we are not duty bound to supply a vehicle. The reasons why it took so long is due to the problems that where found and the delay from BMW UK in supplying the parts. This again is out of our control.
VJHookham kia:
Due to the fact that Mr Hook ran the vehicle low on oil and damaged the engine through not taking proper care of the vehicle, no warranty in the UK covers misuse and improper car maintanence, however we managed to get the claim covered and we also made a £500 contribution out of good will. Surely what did we do wrong?? How come you have not mentioned this??
Skaur:
Regarding the Radio, we have offered for you to bring the car back to us to get it fixed, however this was not acceptable and we agreed to pay what it would cost us to fix, again this was not acceptable. Again no mention of the offer we have made to you.
We as A38 Direct Cars sell over 2000 cars per year and endeavour to resolve all matters as quickly as possible for all parties. As im sure you will agree this is a small number of complaints compared to the many customers who come and buy from us again and make recommendations to freinds and family. I do hope that this thread will not have to be taken any further in order to stop the libellous posts being written.
Many Thanks
How exactly do you make recommendations to freinds?
I know how to do it to my FRIENDS, but definitely not my FREINDS.
Professional's? At what?0 -

Good news at long last, but I will not be buying anything from them, nor will any of my " freinds "..
Seems they cannot even use a spellchecker...
OOOh was that " libelous " ??
Do they have company representative status to even post comments like that on here?0 -
Zoe. Really pleased they have managed to resolve 1 happy customer.
Just a huge shame they don't care about the rest of there customers. I still have not received my refund and looks like it shall be taken further!0 -

perhaps if you treat customers fairly and kept promises then these customers wouldn`t feel the need to vent their anger on here.
we purchased bmw from yourselves in may this year and ever since then we have been chasing you for the service history, you supposedly posted it out to us in june this year but did not send it special delivery and it was lost in the post. since then you have supposedly arranged to have new service history done for us but this is not forthcoming at all. everytime we ring neil tells us that it will be with us at the end of the week but again this never happens. today i spoke to neil who has advised me that bmw are now posting out the service history directly to us when i asked him which garage it is at now he said he would check his diary and get straight back to me. this was four hours ago and i have now just been informed that neil has gone home for the day. i realise that we can purchase service history ourselves but it is now a matter of principal you lost it you replace it. the advert said car had full service history and you have admitted that you have lost it so surely you should replace it. as it stands now you have sold me a car with full service history which you now cannot prove it has. i would appreciate it if this matter could be resolved as soon as possible now0 -
Just read this post, Fair play Zoe for pursing the matter and getting everything sorted out.
I had some issues with a38 around this time last year, I left a 'refundable' deposit on a car whcih i had every intention of purchasing.
However, I got home and did a check on the car and it turned out it had I believe 5 previous owners, where I had been told 1. So I rang them up and explained that I didn't want to go ahead with the sale as I had been lied to.
I was told the money would be refunded and had nothing, I rang to chase about 10 times and was told the money would be refunded but still heard nothing. They then started ignoring my calls and telling me my calls would be returned but they never got back to me or refunded the money.
Compared to most on here I had a lucky escape and only lost out on £100. However, i was 17 year old girl and £100 is a lot of money to me.
Funny how theres no-one posting on a good experience that they have had with a38 direct hey?0
