The way that our referral program works is that when someone signs up for our broadband service using your referral code you get £20 credited to your account and your friend gets £10.
This credit then can be applied towards our broadband service. If you've not got a broadband service with us and you're on dial up, you can accrue credit in your account until you upgrade to broadband.
Kind regards,
Samara
Im not a user of madasafish and since the others in my household with whom I share dont want to change so I guess that counts me out
Its a shame because my BB ISP are not so generous
I am a technition making lots of home visits daily and could refer many new customers which would be good for me and good for you
You could have a constant flow of new customers through me
I wonder if we could come to an arrangementIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -

So if MAAF do a deal with you, on what basis will you be recommending their ISP to your customers?
(Bearing in mind MSE members can get £25 in cash back/credit if they use a referral from the referrer's forum to join up)0 -
Hi Vinylmusic,
We would sincerely appreciate any recommendations that people give us - however I'm afraid that we just don't have the resources to manage a lot of separate referral programs....However I have been asked before by MSE'rs about getting us listed on Quidco. I can't make any promises but I'll try and pursue this further.
Kind regards,

I can put a banner on my website.
So far customers have got me to do all the setup for them and so I click on the banner on my site to start the process. Its simple that way because I dont have to give them codes and so forth.
Currently I'm using plusnet who are very stingy with their referrals and pay out nothing at all when the customer goes with the most basic package
As to the amount. please suggest somethingIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -

That's a pretty quick turn around for having DACs removed from a line. I'm impressed.
It's really hard to give advice on the bell - but I do know that some external bells do not cause a problem and some do....it all depends on exactly how the bell is fitted vs. the quality of your line.
I guess my best advice is to give broadband a try and if it's not working properly then we should have a look at the bell at that time. It's quite possible that the bell will have no impact on the quality of your connection and it would be good to confirm that prior to paying for an engineer to come and visit.
Kind regards,
Samara
Hi Samara,
=======================================================
I think the point with BT was that the other party to the DACS thing was nolonger using it - they should have taken it away years ago.
Today my "SCREWFIX" (B&Q in disguise ?) Catalogue No. 85 arrived.
On page 354 it is selling "Data Networking".
It looks to me as though what you call Ethernet cables etc. are on sale but described as RJ45 Booted Patch Leads?
Or one can buy the cable, fitments etc. and devise your own network.
The basic "Ivory" lead prices vary from 0.65 for 0.5 m length to 5.25 for 20m. with other options inbetween. Alternatively there is a posh looking "Cat 5E Coupler" for 2.99 (2.79 if you buy 5) or a cheap and nasty looking one for 0.90.
So, as I need to send them an order anyway, will this I solved my Ethernet cable requirement?
SCREWFIX sell "USB 4 port self powered hubs" but don't appear to sell the USB cable - but I think I can get it from our local TESCO.
Best wishes,

Hi Everyone
I signed up to Madasafish last January so I've had the average of £167.88 for 12 months £13.99/month (excluding an extra £10 one month going over the limit).
Now that the monthly bill is sitting at £17.99 / month for a 5GB limit I wonder is it worth switching ISP ?
Should I look elsewhere and take advantage of introductory offers to get something similar to the MaxPlus of Madasafish 20GB limit average £ 25.99 / month. I'd prefer a higher limit than experience the extra charge for going over.
Even BT Total Broadbands Option 3 is looking better value at 40GB limit average £ 22.99 / month.0 -
It doesn't make sense to charge so much for year 2, when they don't have to pay for the connection, the "free" hardware, the £30 they pay out in referral commission (if you use a referral code), the free domain, etc.
When you take all that into account against what they charge during year 1, then there must be scope for them to charge less in year 2 (as all those start up costs they have aren't repeated).
In fact once they've set you up you probably don't need any more help from them either so the accounts from year 2 on should be just cash cows!
Phone and ask for a MAC and see if they offer you a "bribe" to stay another year.0 -
You have answered your own question! £17.99 / month for 5GB is not good value! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Hi Donaldd,
We will always offer you a better deal if you're outside of a 12 month contract. Just write in or call us and ask 'what kind of prices can you give me in exchange for a new 12 month contract'.
If you PM me your username when I'm back in the office on Monday I'll email your contact email address with a summary of the best offer we can give you in exchange for a new 12 month contract.
Enjoy the weekend!
Kind regards,

Hi Samara
I am in the same position as donaldd in that I have been with madaasafish for more than 12 months now (18 to be exact) and I am still paying £17.99 a month. What offers are available?- I note that Virgin are offering broadband at £9.99 a month for 12 months with a 3gb allowance (i have only used up to 1 gb allowance at any time anyway) and a connection speed of 1mbps (which is what i connect at most times anyway)
