got a quick question, i have not opted for the fixed ip address, when do i get a new ip number? everytime i shutdown and restart?
Hey Deefadog -
If you've got a static IP address, your IP Address will always be the same everytime you connect to the Internet. Regardless if you've shut down and restarted your computer.
If you've got a dynamic IP address your IP address will be different every time you connect to the Internet.
Kind regards,

Hi, yes i have an dynamic IP address. If you've got a dynamic IP address your IP address will be different every time you connect to the Internet.
What do you mean by the above? everytime i restart or everytime i open a new IE window?
Thanks0 -
Hello Deefadog,
With a dynamic IP address you'll get a new IP address everytime you reconnect to the Internet. If you've got a router that's always on, you'll need to disconnect the router (turn it off and then on again) to get a new IP address.

Hi Samara,
I have a question that I'm asking on behalf of my girlfriend. She currently uses her domain supplied for free by you for her work emails (she's self employed). Note it's not the Madasafish email account but her own .co.uk one which she got free from you. Her contract is probably in about month 5? Anyway, her plan is to relocate. She has found a new flat that (we hope!) has a BT line installed. How does she go about moving?
She needs to give one month notice to you now of her plan to move but can't supply her new landline of her flat until she moves in. Will this be ok? What will happen in between? Will her emails be stored and useable? Will she be able to use my Madasafish account to download her messages in the mean time?
Thanks,
Regards

Hello Ec9rr,
I'll do my best to answer your queries:She currently uses her domain supplied for free by you for her work emails (she's self employed). It's actually quite simple to take your broadband with you. You'll need to sign into My Account from https://www.madasafish.com. When you're signed in you'll see a 'Moving Home' tab, please click on this and you'll be guided through the process of moving home. Please note that as she's only in month 5 of the contract there is a £55 moving home fee. BT charge us every time we connect someone to our services and we can only do 1 free connection per year of contract. She needs to give one month notice to you now of her plan to move but can't supply her new landline of her flat until she moves in. Will this be ok?
Yes, you can do this. What will happen in between? Will her emails be stored and useable? Will she be able to use my Madasafish account to download her messages in the mean time?
She'll still have access to her email address through any Internet connection she wishes. She can access her email through our webmail or through POP3 on another machine.
Please do keep in touch if I can be of further assistance.
Kind regards

Hi Madasafish
I'm thinking of moving to you from TalkTalk. Does the promotion code mentioned on page 1 still work? Sorry if this has been asked before.
Thanks0 -
Thanks Ant1974 for choosing us! I hope that you'll continue to keep in touch if you ever have any questions on how to use all the features of our service.
rooo the CHEAPER code still works - I believe that there are also some Moneysavers in the referrers section who are offering a share of their referral amount if you use their code to sign up rather than the cheaper code. You may be able to find a more generous deal there.
Kind regards,

The promotion code is worth £1/month for the first 12 months (£12 altogether).
Better offer in the referrer's forum:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=193238
In that thread you will find MSE members prepared to give you £15 cash if you use their referral code.
MAAF also credit your account with £10 if you have a referral code when you sign up, so much better deal (£25 altogether) than the promotion code from MAAF you asked about.0
