    Samara,

I have asked this previously, but this seems a good time to ask again.

Are there any plans to introduce a mid-range usage package, say 10GB per month.
I like the recent posters have exceeded my 5GB a few times ( 3 in the past 18 months IIRC) and this package would be a good idea.

It would save the need to watch usage when it starts to get close with a few days to go until the end of the month !
  • Hi GaryS,

I'll certainly raise this with the powers that be. I think that the idea of a 10GB package isn't a bad one!

    Kind regards,
    Samara

    Hi Samara,

I changed my billing details last night from credit card to direct debit. I received my invoice a few days ago stating that today was the debit date. Which account will it come from & will it cause problems that I change from credit card to direct debit the day before the amount was supposed to be deducted?
  • Hi Roses,

I'm certain that you've already PM'd me your username - I did a sweep through clearing my inbox as I kept hitting 50 PMs and I've deleted your PM!

Could you please send me your Madasafish username again? I'll have a look into this and confirm with certainty which payment method was charged.

    Thank you

    Kind regards,
    Samara

  • Hi Samara

I've gone over the 5GB limit this month and may be more likely to do so in future months as well. I emailed madasafish to ask about upgrading to Max Plus and was quoted £25 per month. however, on the website, it offers £19.99 for the first 6 months for new customers. I have been a loyal madasafish customer for a few years now and feel a bit miffed that I haven't been offered this lower rate. Is there anything I can do?
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."

    Hi Samara

This week my broadband speed plumetted from nearly 4meg to less than 1. I phoned the helpdesk and they explained that my broadband had been temporarily disconnected during the week and the router had then reconnected at the lowest stable speed, and that the speed would eventually build back up.

My question is do you know how long this will take, as my broadband has gone from superfast to unbearable.

    Thanks
  • Hi Crispy Ambulance,

If you're outside of a 12 month contract, we'll certainly get you the promotional pricing in exchange for a new 12 month contract. Please PM me your Madasafish username if you would like for me to sort this out for you.

    Kind regards,
    Samara

  • Hi Duncansby,

From what you're explaining my team told you, it sounds like there must have been a decrease in your sync speed.

If there is a decrease in your sync speed your throughput speeds will drop quickly. When your sync speed increases again it will take at least three days for your throughput speeds to increase.

    Kind regards,
    Samara

Hi Samara, not sure whether you received my pm.
I upgraded the firmware to the latest for my router but still was getting speeds in the 3.5mb range rather than the 6.5mb anticipated for my line. When I connected the router via a cable (instead of wireless) I got a max speed of 3.99mb.
The latest speed test is down to 1.2mb.
If you could look into it, would be much appreciated.
    Regards, Dongle
  • Hi Donglefan,

I apologise for the delay in getting back to you - I've just sent you a PM with some more troubleshooting.

    Kind regards,
    Samara
