    Hi Samara,

Have looked at your new offers and afraid they don't match up to talktalk, especially as your £9.99 then goes up .
I'm after phone(all inclusive calls all day) and broadband, So its looking like it will cost me around £25 to start with from you then going up to £30ish , and this is for just 5gb download.

With talktalk I can get the same pakage for £20.49 per month and a 40gb download. This ia a saving for me of at least £90 per year if not more. However as I have been very happy with the standard of service from madasafish I would like to know if there is anyway you could compete with the talktalk package, unlikely I know but I thought I would give you a chance. In the more likely case that you can't I would like to say thank you for your help on this board and if the price was right would come back without hesitation.

    Regards

    Terence

PS: I would be obliged if you could pm asap about this

  • Hi Tabath,

    I'll send you a PM ;)

If you're outside of a 12 month contract we can always do a good deal on pricing.

Also, in light of the comparision with Talk Talk, please remember that no two ISPs are the same: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/isp/compare.html?isp_17=1&isp_22=1&commit=Compare

    Kind regards,

That's indeed what happens when you play with fire!

  • I'm glad to see you guys playing with the comparision tool. As quality of service will vary widely from one ISP to the next - I personally feel that the decision on ISP should not be made on price alone.

I wish more people would research using that tool.

    Kind regards,
    Samara

    Just spotted this thread.

I'm in the process of dumping Tiscali because in my opinion they do not care about me as a customer. I've looked at a few providers and I got to admit Madasafish has a certain appeal.

I note that there seems to be a Madasafish Customer services person on here - is he/she for real?

Basically if Madasafish is affiliated or connected to MoneySavingExpert I'll sign up this evening!

(Damn I won't be able to as Tiscali is down AGAIN......) :( GRRRRRR

Hi Impster, On the couple of occasions I've needed to contact Samara I've found her to be very helpful and fast in responding.

well unbelievably tiscali is now working again. What should I do people? In in Machynlleth, mid Wales, with a fairly limited telephone exchange. Who should I go for, and will the basic Madasafish 5GB limit suffice my occasional xbox 360 online gaming?

In most cases 5gig is more than enough though you can always monitor your usage with Madasafish...

Regarding Tiscali i have never used them but i know that Tiscali have bought Pipex and they are leaving like no tomorrow! One thing is that if you have a problem Madasafish are very good and it's the support that you pay for...

You find that you when you move to a cheap ISP and you get a problem (roll on March for my MAC key!)

Pretty much decided on Madasafish to be honest. Their website seems so clear and easy to understand compared to others. People on here seem to 'like' them as well and that's good enough for me. Calling Tiscali tomorrow for a MAC code...
