Sorry to hear about your son.How dare they treat someone so bad.I'm sure that your DS will find another job with his conscientious ways and where his strengths will be appreciated.
Well done on debtbusting and as for MR BOB ..what can I say...mmmm0 -
How awful for your son BOB, I'm sure he has done the right thing by resigning and fingers crossed he finds a new job that will treat him properly - he sounds like a hard worker that an employer would be glad to have.

Hi Bob, hopefully the new year will be better for DS. Is he taking this to an employment tribunal or anything?
Glad the debtbusting is going well. Don't know what i'd do without those 0% offers.
As for DH, sounds just like my dad that does

I don't know about a tribunal- he is not the most confident of young men:o He is no good with confrontation and i think that he has been unable to defend himself because he felt so intimidated. He was beaten up badly a few years ago and i think that has had such an effect on him- which is so sad, as he keeps making strides then getting knocked back down.:o:o I felt like going and knocking that bloke and his daughter's block off:mad:
I totally agree about the 0% offers, the £2000 has allowed me to play around with a few things and juggle the balances. It is so nice to see things progressing for a change.
As for Mr.B i think all dad's/hubby's are generally the same- there are a few exceptions to the rule-notably young Shauny and maybe your good self:D
Today i have finished shopping for family and did quite a bit on line with cashback through quidco. I also did one through natwest gold service, before i stop it:rolleyes:...got 20% off and was quite bargainous including free delivery sorted out two Christmas pressies and two birthdays for jan, all delivered and was only £25. Seems a bit steep but they live at the other side of country and if i had posted two separate lots of birthday, Christmas pressies...well it would have cost lots more.:D Plus it looks like i spent more:whistle:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
As for Mr Bob - typical male - nuff said.
Ahermmm....May I for one take exception to that.....some of us get a bit fed up of being tarred with the same brush as some of the dingbats that the almighty decided to endow with dangly bits......believe me, even my dangly bits get fed up with being tarred with the same brush as...etc., etc.,
Just because the majority of my gender are a bunch of complete no-brain, selfish, disorganised, lazy good-for-nothings (well, according to the majority of your gender anyway) doesn't mean we all are.
Dunno about giving up food for Lent, think I'll give up gender for a New Year's Resolution...it'll go one of two ways...either no hassle at all, or grief from both sides in the gender battles0d's law says I'd end up withthe latter

I can think of a few other choice working titles- but at least is done and dusted..apart from his family...ooh evil i amBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

He did say he was going to buy me a card..i told him not to bother as he wasn't get one off me, don't see the point when we live in the same house. Throwing up would be dramatic
