  • Any one else bored tonight?? I am totally fed up- must be the exciting life of a DFW- i even went shopping tonight and was totally uninspired..was going around Tesco with a mental list in my head..this is cheaper at netto/Aldi/lidl's....arrrghhh:rotfl::rotfl:

Still spooks and Richard Armitage may make up for it.;)

  • Having worked from just before 8am until 6.30pm today without a break I decided I couldn't face up to Tesco's tonight so I have that delight awaiting me tomorrow instead. Having said that, I have just just realised that they have already started their 50% off whole salmon so I shall call in there tomorrow morning and see if lovely fishmonger Steve is on the counter - if he is I'll get him to fillet up a couple of those for me. The cat will love me for the rest of the weekend if they do as she'll get the heads! ;)

I'm feeling a bit unmotivated tonight as well - I ought to have checked on the electricity account as soon as I got in so I could ring Brit Gas and shout at them - but I forgot and packed up my eBay items instead, meaning that by the time I'd checked the 'leccy account and realised that the burgers hadn't processed the credit they owed me, it was to late for shouting. :o I think my state of mind can be put down to my supremely irritating colleague having found yet another lame excuse to have time off - in the past 7 weeks he's been out of the office more than he's been in, and all on spurious excuses. I take consolation in the fact that our Area Manager is pretty peeved about it now by the sound of it. ;) Doesn't help with the fact that I'm still trying to fight off this wretched cough / cold, and that if as a result of being run off my feet covering for that lazy little twonk I end up being ill over christmas I promise faithfully that I shall make his New Year a living nightmare at work! Phew. Rant over. Sorry about that Bob! :o
