I dont feel bored as such...more like being at a party when everyone else is drunk and youre sober!! Ie everyone else shopping like loonies and me sitting here (qute smug in some ways) just gently making things...Does help that I dont have to cook though as that adds a certain amount of stress...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Oh dear i seem to have passed a malaise onto you all...must be the distinct lack of Christmas spirit on my part.
Was a bit of a funny day yesterday, i don't know whether some of you will remember about DS and his job? Well the chap has escalated his attack on Ds's work. The poor lad was in such a state that in the end we all decided it was best for him to resign. The b*stard even got his daughter( she works in same place) in on the act. She said all sorts to him about watching his back, i'm the bosses daughter kind of thing. Basically they have worn him down with implied threats.
Needless to say times, incidents etc have all gone in the letter of resignation and it makes pretty damning reading i can say. He rang up and tried to say he was in breach of contract( resigning with immediate effect)- but he isn't as DS has never had a contract ( only verbal) by implication- he has no contract but is required to give a weeks notice- out of courtesy he would have done, however... hours were changed - verbally at a moments notice i might add and the other day he was told he was not full time but part time!!!!!!!!?? Then he sent a letter asking him to attend a disciplinary meeting at 7 am in the morning.
I don't know how these people get away with it all- DS has worked his backside off- gone in on days off, on his holidays, cancelled weekends away etc. Never skived and is so Conscientious, i could cry at the way he has been treated.
Arrrrgghhh- anyway hopefully DS can find a different job. He has money to last him as he is quite frugal in his ways.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well after all that, i am pleased with debt busting at the moment.
The overdraft - joint one is now reduced and is £1000 in deficit so that will be cleared by Jan.
Last month on credit experian saw £1500 wiped off the total of combined debt, £1000 of that was off my personal debt so that has reduced significantly thanks to the 0% card(BT) and being able to pay off little things(in cash)- i have saved quite a bit on interest. Of course the real figures will not be updated until Jan, so will have a new total then...
I am thinking of starting new diary then and will have a running total on those debts, hopefully Mr.B will continue being on board- although he is distinctly lacking on sorting out pressies or amounts for his side of family, as usual it is down to me to sort out and i am getting a bit sick of the lack of forethought on his part. We were supposed to visit his parents this weekend, and he had the cheek to ask if we( the royal we) had wrapped all the presents etc..
Translation- hey pet have you bought and wrapped all the presents for my ungrateful family? So i can look good and be seen to be completely on the ball with everything. I can turn to my mother with the deprecating gracious smile on my face and say- how organised am i? Oh and have you packed the suitcase, washed and ironed my clothes and wiped my backside at the same time???Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

aww hugs bobiliscious one...sorry things have been so awful for ds...thank goodness he's out of there..good on him for not stooping to their level - give him a hug from me - work plays such huge part in our lives that its devastating when things go wrong.
Lol re dh - whats he like eh! Would be tempted to not do it so he has to run round like headless chicken for once.Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
