This reminds me of bad Christmas's I had in the past before I finally bit the bullet and asked him to leave, even then it took nine months to convince him it would be best if he went.
Our problem is that I feel the need to try and solve problems and make things better for everybody and he never grew up but does what he wants without thinking of the consequences and relies on other people to sort things out. When things got tough he also tried to escape with alcohol.
Life is much simpler and more peaceful without him and it is actually better for him as he has a new woman who is also financially astute who just takes his share of the bills off him and sorts everything out for him. We get on fine now & he even thinks to buy Christmas presents for the kids.
Still Mr Bob is your decision. The question is; do you think you are happier with him despite all the stress or would you like to cut free and try life on your own? I found that I had a growing resentment that I was the one scrimping and saving and doing without so to fund his carefree existence.0 -
