The path of my life is strewn with cowpats from the devil's own satanic herd.

Well it is early morning- nearly the New Year and the start of another diary._party_

As ever another reference to Blackadder..which some of you may know i am slightly addicted to:rolleyes: and he has graced the titles of my other diaries.
It has been an interesting journey so far..err to say the least.:o Like Baldrick, my Cunning plans are always complicated and never always coming to fruition. However, there has been a lot of progress made. We paid off a substantial amount last year and i am aiming for a similar amount this year.

My personal debt stands at £4,500-which is the back end of the car loan and a couple of credit cards.

Joint debt ( loan taken out, credit card and overdraft is currently at £15000:o) Long story and to do with a certain other person responsible for a few old cowpats in my life:rotfl: So that is my target for this year- to clear these and make some progress at last. As it seems to have been one step forwards and 10 steps back.

So i thought i would be out slightly early with my lumps of coal ( no it is not a dirty innuendo George, Pepe, Z:rolleyes:) But a reference to first footing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First-Foot:D

Step across the threshold of my diary and bring with you some good cheer as i reckon after this last year i need it.

  • Ooooh a new diary, fantastic.:j So much easier to keep up with a new diary than it is to catch up with the multitude of pages in an old one when you have been away for a few months like wot I have.

Many lumps of coal went on the fire tonight to keep us cosy and keep the gas central heating off. More lumps of coal always welcome.

Looking forward to reading what 2010 is going to bring forth.:T Here's to a happy and healthy and debt reducing one.

  • Just thought i would re paste my goals for this year off my other diary..just to keep me on track.

    Personal Goals:

    1. is to finish my Master's degree.

    2. Be less miserable and stop dwelling in the past.

    3. To lose weight ..again. But more importantly to build up my walking.

    4. To meet more of the lovely folk off here.

    5. To look into starting up my own business with a couple of colleagues..currently in planning stages and linked to Master's course and research.

    General Goals:

    1. To be personally/jointly debt free which will happen this year and pay more off mortgage.

    2. To ensure Mr.B's debts are controllable- which i suppose if i clear the other stuff off ..will happen.

    3. To have money set aside for DD2 Uni fees..i have £500 so far, not a lot but i don't want her to struggle as she has so much to deal with in life. It may go for a small car for her, if she passes driving test this year.

I will be reviewing at regular periods.. a bit like one of those awful end of the year shows, filmed in August:rotfl::rotfl:

Seemed appropriate bobiliscious one! Happy new diary! Hope this year you both go from strength to strength and Mr Bob spends more time with head out of sand rather than in!
