I have a rudely -shaped turnip:DThought i had seen one somewhere:D
Bob, why did you get a loan for just the back-end of the car. you'll never get anywhere with that sort of financial planning!
Long story Pepe, i will learn one of these days..talking of which how's your alternative fuel one?
So what do I do now? I have a rude turnip, some pie, coffee ( espresso:D) false boobs, underpants on my head, pencils up my nose and a lump of coal...........I suppose I just wait for the whistle and go over-the-top into 2010.
That's the spirit Pepe, but you fell asleep and i think some folk have added a bit more to your ensemble:D Wasn't me gov honest:whistle:
Passes Pepe some pick me up..:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Right i am trying a mini update in blue.
So today i have paid Mortgage, sorted out boiler insurance and have got a discount:cool: on the renewal.
Later i am closing one account again which i thought i had already done so
Done my online banking and am contemplating signing Mr.B up for BB as i a loathe to do it, but don't want to miss free money opportunity.
Housewise- well i am decluttering like everyone else on here. Seems to be the weather for it. I have stripped the beds except one as DD2 is still in it:rolleyes:
I don't know whether i should have done, but when i was clearing out the drawers i found a stash of letters for Mr.B from his car company- i read them. He is on arrangement with them and the beggars have piled charges on..as is their right of course- he told me otherwise, why i don't know and we need to move forward as i think as was previously mentioned he is in a depression about it all. Now in the spirit of MSE- i am going to write to them and get the charges back if possible. I think he needs to now face up fully to things and make this a positive year....either that or i will be borrowing PEPE's rude Turnip and putting it where the sun don't shine.
Other minor irritation for the day- what is it with bloody ungrateful relatives?? I was unable to deliver some pressies before Christmas due to weather and we arranged to meet up afterwards. Having been at the outlaws since, was unable to do so until last night. I rang to arrange and they said-
Oh as it is only money why not send it? I said well they are presents and quite heavy,
Reply- the kids want money- can you send that instead?
I was a bit gobsmacked as they aren't sending mine anything as they are older..Which i agree with, but just thought they were rude.
It is the youngest ones birthday on the 3rd and he wants money for that too. So now i have spare pressies, which can be recycled for other birthdays etc. Oh and we decided to scoff the selection boxes:D. They will receive far less money and i do enjoy buying and getting bargains. So i am down by £15 as i thought a fiver each for Christmas and a fiver for the birthday..i would have given more but they can naff off and no chocs either..or the lovely Dr.Who stuff i bought for him- which is now mine...David Tennant..mmmmm .Silver lining and all that.:rotfl:
So now off to make soup and another loaf of bread- i am on a storecupboard challenge at the moment ..too much stuff in and i refuse to buy more until after New Year when The Grocery Challenge starts. £200 for the month. I am also thinking of joining the other challenge-where you turn £100 into £10,000- i will get no where near that, but i am up for the challenge.:D
Right next load in Washing Machine, polishing and hoovering next.
Have a good day everyone.

I did Skinty, he already knew..i even told him what they were.:o, i was just a bit overawed with his insistance and cheek. Oh well his loss and another nephew's gain as i had bought something similar for Mr.B's nephews..they absolutely loved the Dr.Who stuff. One of them being the same age as this other recipient was a tad jealous of the massive Pop out interactive, shiny Dr.Who book...Well DT has to be admired in pop out form:rolleyes: So as it his birthday in Feb, he will get that now.
They will no longer be on the thoughtful list...i don't have to worry spending anything. Oh and the selection boxes were bloody good too.:D Saves a lot of hassle in the future i can tell you.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
