Can they not write to your parents themselves?Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0

Just out of interest how many nights a week do you stay over the night?0

Can i say that someone is lying and this isnt true?
Do you not think if it was that simple no one would ever be convicted of benefit fraud? How can we go about this?
You have answered your own question - the job centre gave your girlfriend two options:
1. Admit to it; or
2. Have parents confirm you are living with them.
Therefore you must do one of those two things. Simple.0 -

It isn't that simple.
The girlfriend has no power over boyfriend's parents and can't "require" them to do anything.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Is it my job to validate that im NOT living there? OR,...is it their job to PROVE that i am?
How can they just go off a tip off? Someone is evidently lying - it could be for malous or pure hate?
I will provide - bills that i pay at my parents - including broadband bills, card staments, insurance policy statment etc etc....
I will contact JOBCENTREPLUS tommrorow0 -

No, but they obviously have collected evidence based on this 'tip off' otherwise it would not have been bought up.
IF this is what his girlfriend was told, then he is implicated in the case and should provide the necessary evidence.
I understand that his parents do not see eye-to-eye with his girlfriend, but this will effect their grandson so if the OP does indeed live with them, I do not see what the problem is in proving it.0 -
Marry her. And make an honest woman of her (and you too)0

Whoa whoa people??
Whats with the judging - i only asked you for information on the situation - NOT to get invloved in my personal affairs...
Have you guys not got anything better to say?
But just to answer you people - i WAS renting with my GF 2 years ago but we werent really getting on and had a split period where we seperated - we have recently (6 months or so) been getting on again....
I dont understand why this has happend - i have not lived with her...
I would have though they would compile an investigation - where they gather evidence - camera footage... had they have done this - they would know that i have not been living with her....
The issue im faced with is my parents dont really get on with her and are stubborn - but apart from that - there is stuff going on within family - which prevents me from going down that route....
Worst comes to worst - then ill have to pretty much force my parents to do this - BUT im simply trying to investigate other avenues as to how i can go about doing this??
If any??
I would apologise on behalf of others, but i can see their point, this is a touchy area for many as so many do as you have been accused, surely though it is a case of inoccent until proven guilty, i would do nothing and let the situation develop, assuming you are truthful then nothing should come of it, i sure they need some evidence to show you are in fact living there.0
