You're doing so well too Lemon Tree that's over £23,000 you've paid off wow!!

Another friend has repaid me £150 towards the hols so thats good and my dad took me for lunch yest and i casually mentioned the £200 he still owed me from xmas which he's promised to pay me back which is good as id sort of written that off, i haven't included that in the money owed section so what it comes it'll be a major bonus!

Its been a bit of a fiasco with the bathroom being put in this week i haven't had a bath/shower since monday (ive had flannel baths & had to sit on the edge of the kitchen sink to shave my legs!!)as the guy fitting it hurt his back so he's got his plumbers mate in to cover it so he's coming in today to make up for lost time. SO we're going to make ourselves scarce and do some shopping etc.Printed off the 15% off at B&Q to buy some more bathroom paint so all good.

i printed off the voucher as well. kicking myself thatwe didn't wait to buy the doors but i always knew that as soon as we got them there'd be a discount or something and if we waited it would just never come around. But i'm also planning on getting paint. sad but i keep thinking, what do we need in there just to get the money off, which is just rediculous.

nope still here i think i get up about 1/2 an hr before you do though as i tend to just log on in the mornings.

Lemontree thats annoying re the doors i suppose it'll be too much hassle to take them back wont it?

OH parents took us out for a meal last night yum yum which was great cause otherwise we'll have been having dried out old liver on our laps in our bomsite of a living room, as we only live in a two up two down everything from bathroom/vestibule is spread out into the livingroom & kitchen so you cant move for tiles/baths etc oh well it will be done on mon and give me more of an incentive to pay off the cc.

Todays plan of action is to clean the living room, get the paint from b&Q, go to cinema to see ghostbusters (25 yrs since i saw it for the 1st time with my dad at the cinema) then another free meal round at OHs parents.

ah yes the marshmallow man i'd forgoten about him-my fave was the green slimey one!!

Front room is tidy (just need to hoover but OH in bed so im waiting for him to get up) though Kitchen is less tidier as stuff has been moved from front room to kitchen. mmmm i really really want a bigger house......this time next yr cocalls this time next yr..................

Think i will also get a ceiling rose from b&q as there obviously was one before as you can see where the previous occupants have hacked it off so if i replace it it will look nicer meaning i wont have to skim that area & estate agents always mention it as a feature so major plus points for getting one!

i'm seriously considering returning the little things that i bought at full price, and then buying them again but seems like a lot of hassle, though i have been known to do it before. the doors i can't return as i needed my sisters car to get them in the first place.

Paint and v pretty ceiling rose bought yest-i wonder if my 7 yr old self caught all the sexual references in ghostbusters it's actually quite an adult like film and i can imagine a bit scarey, well i remember going at 7 so it must have left an impresion on me.

so cross fingers the bathroom will be done today then we can paint it and move all the carp back in and we'll have a habitable house once again! Here's hoping!

Morning all just dont want to go into work today just want to stay home and get this cess pit sorted out. Its still a mess as had to wait for bathroom to dry so couldn't start last night so i might start to paint it tonight we'll see.

Ho hum so bathroom finished well sort of they need to come back and do some more grouting and replace a skirting board they've removed so i shall have to chase them up on that-its not a perfect job and there is grouting everywhere which will have to be sanded down which is not god-ho hum it looks 100% better than before & no leaks!!! Just about to have a shower for the frst time in 7 years (ewwww!!!! ha ha we only had a bath before so it used to take ages to get ready in the mornings so im really looking forward to this shower!)
