I am sure you will be able to get that paid off a little quicker - an extra car boot sale, few more bits and pieces on ebay, trawl through quidco again.......all those extra pennies will soon add up.

However, ive been collecting things for our carbooty which im going to have w/ my dad when he gets his a*se into gear and it really is rubbish stuff that wont sell on ebay, i have a growing pile in the corner of my bedroom.

I will do it, i know i will, im v good at not spending and self-denial (with spending money not with eating!!) so i know it'll be gone. I read a lot of peoples diaries whos debts have gone up and i think why-did you have to buy that item or go on on holiday etc i feel quite sad for them!!!0 -
Morning All
Things to do this weekend:
1.Take car to be MOTd It Failed!! Only the fog light not working but still money to fork out!
2. Go to Sinsburys as i have £2.50 nectar points and buy food as cheaply as poss Spent £14.99 & nectar card not working grrrr
3.Take Next trousers back (Done but bought two itrems from m&S in sale instead)
4.Buy a blind for front room & put it up (not looking forward to this one-but live in a terrace thats straight onto the pavement that has no blinds so everyone looks in when they pass, Oh loves it as he loves people watching but i find it v annoying and unsettling as you look up everytime someone passes by!)(Bought v cheap blind from ebay for £14 will be delivered to my work so will put it up when it comes)
5.Mend curtain in front of door (Done)
6.borrow sander from oh parents & do my DIY jobs Oh parents dont have one-so im going to have to buy one!!!
7. Renew libarary books(Done)
8. Pop round to see my mum and get my hair cut for free!(Done & was fed too!)
That should keep me busy!!
Was supposed to be playing tennis yest but as it was constantly looking like rain we went for a walk instead so i saved £3.50 on that which i put towards my m&S spends (trying to justify myself here!)Bought a top and jogging bottoms as i dont actually have anything to exercise in, when i do have a sudden uncontrolable urge to exercise!:rotfl:
HSBS have applied a £25 charge to my account so im going to ring again today and see if it'll do any good, darn transpennine taking 8 days to charge my account so i forgot all about it!
Got £6 from lightspeed but i'll wait and see what happens with the charges before putting that to the savings.
Car needs to be taken in to fix the fog light today so i'll drop it off on the way to work, then i suppose i'll have to ring the council and try and pay the £35 parking charge even thou ive lost the darn ticket!! I really need to get more organised thats £60 i might have to pay out just from shear negligance on my part!0 -
Hi cocalls
Sorry about the £25 charge and the parking ticket:eek:.
Also have you thought about hireing a sander from a tool hire shop, if your only going to use it a couple of times, might be cheaper than buying and then it sitting around.
Have a good day miemie.0 -
The bank aren't going to charge me £25 yyyeeeeahhhhhhhh managed to convince them on the phone so alls good.
I hear what you say about the sander miemie but we've got such a lot of jobs that need doing that ive put off as we dont have a sander so i know we'll get loads of use out of it, ive asked the technitions at work if they can recommend me a good inexpensive one.0 -
well done for getting the bank charge cancelled. a lot of banks which normally would have done it for a goodwill gesture now send you through to their charges reclaim dept so they dont have to do anything, i know mine do0

Rang the car parking people to tell them id lost the ticket and just to pay the bl**dy thing and a v nice lady gave me the email address and told me to email my complaint and if i did it before tommorrow then i'm still in time to only pay £35 (it goes up to £70 if you haven't paid in two weeks) so i'll get another two weeks to pay at the £35 rate!! So ive emailed them now venting my rage ggrrrrr.
Car cost £21.30 to mend light so not too bad MOt retest is booked in on fri for free hurah! I'm feeling v organised.

Morning Cocalls.
My mothers like that and i always feel like carp/not good enough when around her, she does'nt live in this country now:D, so only see her once a year but as soon as i get the call that she is coming over my stress levels go through the roof, all my friends and husbands family comment on how i turn into a nervous wreck and lose my bubblyness and confidence when she is around i hope never have that effect on my own children ,i think you can be forgiven for the kebab we all need comfort food now and again and you are doing really well.0
