hi, i used to live in Pontefract so have family round there, some of which couldn't come to the wedding so we should visit them with the photo albums. Also thinking of a day York way or Whitby as OH has never been further up the country than east anglia (he's from london bless). I'm the same as you though could never live in London or a city.
I can sympathise with the heart wrenching waving off of OH at train stations i had to do it for 18mths or so before OH moved here.

I really shouldn't be left on my own-just tried to boil two eggs for the nxt two days sandwiches and i came on here and forgot all about them-cue a sound of an explosion and a small fire in the pan-ooppsss, my cat was just sat there watching it enthralled.
Speaking of the cat-does anyone know how to stop her from waking me up at say 2.30am onwards gggrrrr I'm really tierd and she's now fast asleep!

I have a friend coiming round for tea tonight and ive decided im not going to buy any food in other than what is strictly nesassary ie milk-bread etc i reckon i have enough in until oh gets home, though i think i'll be living on homous made from a jar of tahini ive had in the fridge for months!

Still not sent off the complaint letter for parking as i cant find the ticket as the place is an absolute mess so ill have to have a good tidy before my friend comes round tonight so hopefully it'll turn up then!

Just spent an hr tidying front room (with the telly on of course!) and the parking ticket is not there mmmm maybe i took it into work with me.Darn it.

Weirdly the eggs seem to be ok after this mornings near disaster-ive yet to eat then tho they might taste a bit charcoally.

Its Friday tommorrow people that can only be a good thing!

The friend that came round for tea left earlier and he's been stopped by the police as someone fitting his description has stolen something from a nearby hotel so ive just had a phonecall from the police asking if id just had someone round and what was his name etc-vv strange!

However, the good news is im due for a payout of £15 frm Quidco hurrah

So want this week end to come but thinking about it i wont be doing much at all some DIY i think as i'll be twiddling my thumbs-i'll have to lock my cat TIP TOP out of the room though as i can imagine her dipping her paws in the paint and painting her footsteps all over the floor!

Things to do this weekend:

1.Take car to be MOTd It Failed!! Only the fog light not working but still money to fork out!
2. Go to Sinsburys as i have £2.50 nectar points and buy food as cheaply as poss Spent £14.99 & nectar card not working grrrr
3.Take Next trousers back
4.Buy a blind for front room & put it up (not looking forward to this one-but live in a terrace thats straight onto the pavement that has no blinds so everyone looks in when they pass, Oh loves it as he loves people watching but i find it v annoying and unsettling as you look up everytime someone passes by!)(Bought v cheap blind from ebay for £14 will be delivered to my work so will put it up when it comes)
5.Mend curtain in front of door (Done)
6.borrow sander from oh parents & do my DIY jobs Oh parents dont have one-so im going to have to buy one!!!
7. Renew libarary books(Done)
8. Pop round to see my mum and get my hair cut for free!

That should keep me busy!!

Im v confused as to whose debt is whose on my cc as ive paid for a hol which people are paying me back in dribs and drabs, then there's my debt on there, then the bathroom which is half OHs debt too, then i paid for my dads insurance which is on there too, so in my siggie ive just put my debt but then i get a bit confused when i pay some off that a friends given me for the hol and later think was that my debt or theirs a few days later.

Does that make sense at all?? I think i'll put down in my siggie the full debt on there so i know in my head whats happening!!

Wow i really haven't been keeping track of things and the figures look so much better than i thought!!

The total on the CC is £3331.93 i'm owed £1022.49 from friends OH & my dad
so that leaves £2309.44 I actually have £614.75 in the savings acc to pay off cc which leaves the overall figure at £1694.69 which is so much healthier!

Lets see how im going to pay it off by NOV;

So totally doable i reckon while still having a life OH might moan a bit as he currently owes me £635.40 so thats why ive reduced his contribution a bit. I know its strange we have seperate finances except for a joint acc where all bills come out of but it works at the mo when we get married and have babies then things will obviously have to change!

So im on track for paying it off by NOV-lets see if i can get it down any quicker!!!
