Just did 2 surveys the first with my new bestest site lightspeed and the other with shock horror valued opinions (only as i accedendly ticked on yes i went to waitrose-ive never set foot in the place we dont have them round here are they a southern thing?) so all good.
Requested £10 from virgin bingo (then realised that i can actually withdraw it in £5 increments!)
OH phoned last night they wouldn't let him into Belarus on their bikes (even thou they had their £150 visas to get into the country) so they had to pay a man in Us dollars to put their bikes in his van and then drive them over the border!!!! I thought he was coming bck on sun but it turns out hes coming on sat eeek my DIY jobs are half done so the place looks a mess i'll have to get my skates on!

sounds like you're going to be busy with the hammer and nails tomorrow. I'm going to try and be good and be busy with some decluttering but i'm not usually good at such things thats why it's a mess

I actually love decluttering-i find it quite theraputic. Sometimes when im watching telly i'll get a drawer out and go through it-it drives my OH mad!!

Have a couple of hrs off work this morning to take the car to get its MOT retested and then I have to do the insurance. Then tonight im off for tea at a friends but i'll try not to drink too much as i need a clear head for tomorrow to get all my DIY jobs done!!

OH's money has gone into the shared bill account so i'll check it tomorrow to see how much there's left over as ive been super frugal with food(apart from that Kebab darn it!) so should have some extra to throw at the savings pot.
Expecting a payout of £21 from quidco and 20p on scratchcards. Happy Friday everyone.

My god I've just had possibly one of the worse days ever!!!!

started off ok-joined onepoll & Tolula to get extra pennies. Then jumped in the car at 8.00am to take it round to the MOT place. However the bloody thing wouldn't start!!! Tried several times-it's an automatic and sometimes i forget to put it in park to start it but i went through all the different combinations but to no avail.

So i thought i'd ring RAC as supposudly we have breakdown cover (so the OH maintained which was one reason why he wanted to keep his fee paying account) however the cover was only for him they said so i rang him in Poland and told him this re rang them to check and rang me back to confirm this. Hurrah i thought, so i was panicing by this time as i know nothing about cars and id missed the 8.30 Mot test. So i rang the garage who fixed the fog light and they came and said its a prob w/ the battary-so they jump started me and i had to drive it round to their place. Meanwhile i had to ring my work to say i wasn't coming in at all today & ring the MOt place to try and get another test today as the MOt and Tax ran out today.

Meanwhile, rather than waiting at home i thought id go into town and get a bikini wax in preperation for Oh coming home and the hols nxt week. Now Oh has always wanted me to get a Brazilian ahem so i did but my god it was the most painful thing-second to childbirth probabally. I was swearing and nearly crying and afterwards i was shaking and had to have a fudge for medicial purposes to stop me from shaking and crying-it was so awful why do women put themsleves threough it? The woman said it was the most popular procedure sometimes she just does that all day!:eek:

So then i hobbled round to the garage to be told they couldn't find anything wrong with it but i could take it away (haven't paid them so far) and i rang the MOt place and pleaded with them to take me today so i went through rush hr traffic and the car has its MOT hurrah!!!Then popped to Morrissons as it was right nxt door and spent £43.50 so under budjet so i'll add that to the savings and finally im home. So ive just renewed the TAx.

What a nightmare. Next time OH goes on hols i will make sure he doesn't leave this up to me it's so stressful!!

Oh dear we both drank a bottle of wine each!! Im v hung over and i cycled back last night-doh!Think i may have to go back to bed before tackling the DIY jobs.

your boyfriend is very lucky, i would never put myself through such hell for OH! Hope the diy goes well when the hangover had cleared a little.

Oh dont worry he knows how lucky he is-and i deffo wont be doing that again!!
Didnt get all the jobs done i wanted but at least the house looked presentable rather than a bomb site Im going to see if i can get the OH to put the blind up in exchange for the pain i endured! We'll see.

Received a letter from the parking people and i will have to pay the fine-ho hum at least i tried!

We're having friends round for tea on weds so i was thinking id do a mexican and at the mo Discovery packs (ie nachos, enchillas etc) are doing a deal whereby they give you a £2 money off coupon inside-so they're £1.50 at Morrisons at the mo and i use any old coupon at tescos and dont even have to buy the thing so basically im making 50p on these packs which is great!! We're having our friends round to watch a programme thats on BBC4 at 9pm called the Forgotton Fallen as it was filmed at my museum and im an extra in it! I had to be made to look really ill as if i have the Spanish Flu and im working behind a spinning mule(though they kept calling it a loom-silly people!)It should be really good Charlie Brooker has given it a good write up in sats guardian.

Well the blind didnt get put up and the lastest installment in the car saga is that it wouldn't start yest so cue another trip to the garage (im letting my OH sort it out this time!)
Lightspeed & Quidco payments have hit my account £22 in all (im sure it said i was due more than that from quidco ho hum) which im afraid to say will go towards my holidays spends as im thinking of taking £140 to last me from the sat to the fri and luckily i get paid on the fri so i have £15.30 left over in my HSBc account £17 in my purse and £13 in halifax so i need to buy lunch today as im going to manchester with work and we're all eating out (i'll get it back in nxt months wage)and i need £36 to get to work over three days-oh dear im going to be skint ths week!
