oh no hope you get it sorted!! Who wired it an you get them back and redo it? Ive decided the next house we get is going to be done to my taste before we move in and be done to such a high spec that i wont need to weild a painbrush for years. I hate DIY with a passion now.
Anyway scratchies done, just requested £8 from lightspeed to go into paypal and i have only spent 60p in the last two days (on pop!) so i think i can last with my £20 till tues.
Happy Friday everyone!!!!!!!!!0 -
the storage heater was donkey's years old so that's why we were replacing it so nobody to complain to. Got to have a mega clear up tomorrow, i have a friend coming around on sunday who i haven't seen in years and i don't want them to realise how hovelish our flat it most of the time. What we really need is a tardis flat, then we may just get away with all the stuff we have.0

i've got to sort house insurance as well, must get it done before the weekend.
had a good catch up but my friend seemed to be trying very hard to prove how her life was so much better than mine, how splashing the money and having the best of everything is the only way to go. strange thing is i feel that i have a much happier life than she does, and ok it means things are tight and we're not going on massively expensive foreign holidays every year (which i really wouldn't want anyway) but we're living within our means, not racking up tonnes of debt weekly and there's a light at the end of the tunnel.0 -
i think thats the best way to be lemon tree, i sometimes think im happier being poor!

Was a bit daft yest as forgot to make lunch so had to buy it for 1.69 from tescos and i forgot that my monthly train ticket ran oout and you can't renew them on the train so i had to get a weekly one from the conductor which is about £10 more for the month boooo.
On a good note i found lots of receipts with unused club card points on them so i got them renewed and a work collegue bought me a big bag of homegrown veg, plus ive requested a £12 debenhems voucher from toluna yyyyeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh.
