Which are your nearest supermarkets, Mooloo? Do you have far to travel to them?

Hi, the nearest Supermarkets are 8 miles away, either in Towcester or Brackley. There are tesco's and waitroses in both towns. Also I think there are co-ops in both.
I know that ASDA from Milton Keynes will deliver this far. But I havent got around to sorting out a delivery.
There is also an expensive petrol m&S. Thats the nearest at 71/2miles.
so I have to go in the car if I want anything.

When I was not running DS to college, I used to pick up stuff off of the butcher van, and DS used to pick up bread and milk in Somerfield, but it closed down 2nd August.

    Benefits.
I have chased up the child benefits. They reckon they have no record of my letter of the 25th August. But I have given them the dates of DS's course and where he is, and they have said that they will sort it out, and back date any arrears.
The CSA said that Mr. X has stopped paying and they dont know why, so they will have to ask him to make a telephone payment, and re set up his Standing Order.!! If he doesnt make a payment then it may take an attachment of his earnings!. Great. That will put the cat among the pigeons with his current wife.! (I am not her favourite person,?) Not that I have ever done anything against her. They even came to the evening reception when I got married? but she has gone a bit neurotic since I went bankrupt.

    Twin2
She rang me at 11.30 as I got home, asking me to take her to MR T. to get a FreeView box.
Yesterday she was asking me to take her for a crisis loan. So I said how can you afford that? She said her Tax credits were in. So I have said well you need to get other things sorted out, and dont forget that you owe me over £120 (that was just one large shop and Some money they owe to twin1 I had lent over on thier behalf, if you get what I meant). Anyway I said NO. :T

DS has been told to go and see the Student Office, and I am just going to pop onto the website above, and see if I can find anything I can do from here.
I have two hours before I have to go out. So I can actually stop and have some lunch for a change.

Not sure I am back on track, sort of more on the rambling path, with a few large obstacles in the way. But at least I am trying to focus, and I will find it a lot easier if the benefits etc arrive soon.
I have downloaded a form from the college website. Will sort out getting the printer set up this evening, and then DS and I can work our way through it all.

But I will get back on track.
I have many ups and downs, and wish I could be able to handle the emotions better, but moving here, and getting the girls set up, I am sure it will settle.
Just organising DS while I go away for the week. He will have to stop a few day with one sister, and a few with the other, so he can still get to college.
I need to makesure that he has addequate money, for buses, and food for his lunches. But if he is with them, then the electric etc here will not be much as it will only be the fridge and freezers on.
With all the hugs, the advise, etc and help here, I am feeling stronger. Today, I have chased up a few tasks for me.
I have taken time to have some lunch.
I have an hour left before I go out, so I am going to switch the computer off, (I know its hard, its my life line!) and get the dining room table cleared, and then hopefully tonight, I will manage to do a little bit of sewing. Just to switch my mind off of all the stresses.
I also have a pattern to trace off and post out.

PS the holiday is a weeks selfcatering in the Algarve, so its near where my timeshare would have been. I will just makesure we share the cooking. As I wont be able to afford going out to the restaurants of yesteryears!. But just to get away from the family demands will be good.
We are taking 2 of BF's family but my DS is going to be in college so he isnt coming with us. Just hope BF's 2 behave a bit better then they did last year when we took them. !!

  • Hi Mooloo

hope the path is less winding today

Have you heard anything about the timeshare yet?

Sorry your having a low spot but chin up and dig deep.....just concentrate on the basics until you can cope with more ,sounds like getting DS transport and money sorted is the key ................any news on the bike fixing?? any chance of you getting a crisis loan if benefits have messed up you might get one.

I am hoping not to borrow, as I swore that I would never get in debt again!
I have told all the family that I am unable to help anymore. And I have got to just stick to my guns.
Not heard anything from timeshare people. But Isuppose its early days really.
I am digging deep, as the doctor said. Be strong.
Just had a message on the answermachine saying police were still establishing the address of the "mad" woman, so I guess she went quiet on her own accord?
Took DS to the doctor. He is a bit mistified and is going to consult other doctors and come back to us. It appears that DS may have some form of Torrettes? Thats all we need!. (Least he isnt swearing at all and sundry!). Sorry to anyone that has relatives etc, that was not meant as anything derogative. Just me trying to look for the brighter side of things. Now I need to wait for doctor to get back, before I start to panic about what nexts. But its scarey,
Dinner is meatballs made out of a packet of sausage meat, and deepfried potatoes, (left overs from the other day), and peas.
There is also some rice left over if thats not enough.
Noticed we have a tin of peaches in the cupboard, so we can cheer ourselves up with those and some icecream if we feel the need.

It sounds like you are, you sound pretty positive, considering.
Don't get too fraught about DS problems, it might just be happening becuase he's stressed with starting college and having serious transport problems. I used to work next to a bloke who had tics, got quite used to it as did everyone else in the office and it han't stopped him having a lengthy naval career or being a productive member of staff in civvy street.

Just about to leave to take DS to college. Then I have a couple of hours to do some packing, housework, and ironing, as we are going to both go to Oxford this afternoon. Its GD1's birthday on Sunday, she will be 2, so we will come back for tea time. I need to find the sellotape so I can wrap her present from the Parrots, and mine will just have to have a bow on it, as its a bit big to wrap. Its second hand dolls pram, I have been storing it for 18months!!, but I made some bedding for it last night.
    Time to go.
Catch up later if I manage to log on. I am sure I will. BF is off Sailing tomorrow for the day, so although I will be in Oxford, I will have the day to myself. Unless I want to hang around an old, cold sailing club.
