A new start for Mooloo

I am not sure DS would have the confidence to go and ask. He is quite quiet and not that confident about filling in any forms. Or tellling people about our home situation. Neither am I really. But I am trying to come to terms with the fact that I will not be able to get a full time job with my spondylosis, and not be able to survive without the help available. Although every time I have tried to access benefits I seem to have been denied them, well some of them anyway.

Well I think that its time for me to go and try and get some sleep. Put some relaxation music on, and turn out the lights, and tune my mind out of all of the whirl of thoughts if I can.
I find it hard to stop worrying, and my mind keeps going back to the shock of the onslaught.
I will have to just hope that I dont get interrupted sleep, and feel even more haggard then I am now!.
Good night. Thanks everyone for the support, and to Martin for a place where I can offload, get advise and look for what ever I need, and the answer will be here, or someone will know what to do, or where to look etc. etc.

That's quite natural after that kind of shock. Hope you sleep, but just laying in bed and resting if sleep doesn't come easily will do you good.

Hi Mooloo you hang on in there. Its a real shame that people think they can abuse others. Your doing a great job considering all the problems you have had to face.
Things will improve for you and your family and you will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
As for the collage remember its confidential and nobody outside of those dealing with the funds will know. We all need a helping hand at some point and its nothing to be ashamed of.

Mad and excentric seems to come to mind to me these days.!
I have double booked my day, as mentioned. Electric meter is due to be changed between 8am an 1pm, and I have made an appointment at 10.30 for the doctors, which is 8miles away. So I will need to leave by 10,as there usually are tractors etc to negotiate, a few sheep here and there in the middle of the road, etc, so have to allow plenty of time.
Just made a cup of tea and washed up my dishes from last night. It was quite late when I actually ate my dinner!. Mince and potatoes, comfort food.
I need to get a new battery for the clock in the sittingroom, it is loosing about 20 minutes a day!! oops. hadnt noticed, until yesterday it was an hour out, and already it saysits only 7.15!!
Better dashk as its 7.40. Need a shower before the electrician arrives. I look and feel a mess! Catch up later.
Then aim to do a budget review, do a SOA to use for any applications for help, and also get an overview of where i am now.

be careful and don't push yourself, and i hope you tell the doc everything and that YOU need the help. you've helped everyone else for long enough!

Bus driver wouldnt let DS on the bus with a dayrider ticket, although he had one issued yesterday, so I had to dash off and take him to college. I have just got back. But I now have to go out for the appointment at the doctors in a few minutes. Wasnt going to come home but I really needed my tablets and I hadnt taken them in my haste to get out.
Will try and tell doctor all, and will check up on the situation with the police tomorrow, if they dont get bck to me today.
As soon as finished at the doctors going back for DS, see if we can then find out at the college where the Bursars etc are.
