Scrapstore directory ..........not sure where you are now mooloo

    Shaz

Would you believe that I was practically next door to this on Friday morning and didnt realise it. Its a childrens Play Association, surely I would need to be part of that before I could get materials? I will have to find out. Put it on my todo list now.
Not long home. My jam didnt set, so nothing ventured nothing gained I have put it all into the pressurecooker pan and brought it back to the boil and see if it works. Not exactly got anything to loose if it doesnt work.
Must also put jam thermometer on the list. Its going to be a large todo list, or I want list!!!:D

  • I've got an excellent money making adventure in my mind! You know how everyone has that special box of baby/toddler clothes in the loft. You don't want to give/throw it away, but you'll never use it again.... you should make special quilts from the clothes! You'll make a fortune and your own little enterprise.

Hi, this is quite a good idea. The only thing is when making a quilt you have to have like for like fabric. But I wont rule it out.! I shall have to see what things of my grandchildrens I have here and see how it would work, and what time it takes to do. (Will also be a possible present for the twins!):T:T

    Morning all,
Running late, which was not my intention at all. Got woken in the night by a crank call on my mobile. Kids, something to do with DS's ex mate I think. (He had my phone number on his mobile). Anyway it took me a while to get back to sleep.
I woke about 8. Some how the last hour has disappeared. I have a huge to do list, though!!
Still trying to plug on with things.
Came home yesterday, and did manage to sort a few things out, and went to bed at a reasonable time. Aiming to get started on my Organisational plans!

I have several errands to run for others today, and its my Tuesday, where I have been going to activities in the village hall.
I ordered lunch last week, so I need to squeeze that in as I have to pay for it.
So work around that if I can. (May miss pudding as I have to be in Towcester by 2pm at the latest.!).
Butcher didnt have any bones for me last week, so hopefully he will this week, or my plans to make stock, and soup for the month will be out of the window.
DS is in Oxford (Now that I came home????). He has had a letter from College, and he has his induction on FRiday at 1.30pm. So hopefully thats him ready to start on Monday. With anyluck he will be sorted finally.

BF has the week off of work originally to spend some time with his son that is off to uni on Saturday, but he is now redecorating his bedroom. Had to stand back as he got annoyed with me trying to help. So thats his week organised.
I sat at the sewing machine at his yesterday, indeed over the weekend, and I turned a pillowslip into a babies dress, and another one, has been divided into two shopping bags. One is now finished.
Will get the camera out tomorrow, really dont have the time today.
Infact I better dash off and get dressed before the butcher arrives!.
If I get five minutes I will update my plans with you all. :D

Hi Mooloo, I know someone has already mentioned to you using Arnica to help with the pain so i wondered whether you'd ever looked at the homeopathic route of meds?

Hypericum is another one which is excellent for pain, especially involving nerves, which I think yours possibly does? Might be worth looking for a homeopath who can advise you further :)

  • Right I have been trying to sort myself out.
    Not getting very good results.
Managed to pay off the final council tax bill, over the phone, but not with the Automated line, it wont accept payments, nor will the website etc.!!! So a frustrating time last night, and this morning. I also tried to sort out why the council are chasing the twins, and even though I did have Twins authority when we were all living together apparantly the council opened a new account and i dont have authority to deal with that one"!!!!!! So frustrating and not logical at all. It was the same place, I paid the bills and It was only becuase I left a month earlier then the girls, but I was still claiming the overlap, hence I had the bill for here that I just finished paying!!????? Lost ? So am I.

I was advised by working links that I could set up a business of myown and work for 15 hours a week, earn up to £92 a week, and still get the ESA for up to a year.
    Right.
Wrong. I cannot open a business account for another 4 years!!. My bank wont let me, and nobody else will either. Yet it is illegal to run a business through a personnal account.?
So looks like I cannot have myown business then!
Frustration growing as the day is advancing.
DS has still used the details of my bank account to get something on his XBox, (This has gone on for over 18months now!!) I just shouted blue murder at him down the phone.
Not really in the right frame of mind to sit with a lot of people for lunch before I go and collect friend.!
Need to calm down and refocus on things.
Can Ijust scream first please? Aaaaaaagh:mad::o

  • awwww mooloo, take the xbox off him and tell him if he doesn't pay you back asap you are selling it to cover your losses. well maybe just ransom it back to him..... and take the cable away so he can't go online with it.

hope you are having a lovely lunch :)

You will very possibly need to be a member before you can have 'scrap', and there may be a small charge for scrap. I know here and where I used to live that was the case. But for individuals it was not a huge amount.

No, it's not. You can only pay cheques into the account they're written to, but the way round is to have on your paperwork "Mooloo's Real Name trading as Mooloo", and ask for cheques to be made payable to Mooloo's Real Name. That's very common for self employed sole traders, which is all you need to be!

It's a good idea IF you can get a second account set up, because it keeps things tidy, but it isn't essential, especially on the scale you are starting on!

You'd get more help on this if you had a look at the Small Biz board.
