I think you were going to open a new account for dd2 - one without an overdraft facility (if my memory is right) and get her benefits transfered - could that be a "quick fix" for now? I am sure Martin's articles have loads of info on re claiming bank charges.

Also can DS use his moped - save you picking him up?

I was wondering about dd2 and how she is as i am 22 weeks preg now and am starting to find things a little challenging :D
  • afternoon Mooloo, parcel on it's way, will be with you thursday via DHL :)

daftly they are half the price of the post office, so my friendly work peeps have let me post thro the acc and pay them into petty cash :-D

Hi jha, I did try to get her account changed, and she has rung me to tell me the account details, so I have altered them on her Tax Credits application and I have that to post.
She has not had a reply to our request to change the other, but I have her card so she cannot use it. I will write to them and ask them to confirm and also give all the nitty gritty details, as pointed out to me on here, and other threads Martin has on here.
Twin 2 is feeling fine, apart from lazy. No sickness so far, which is good as she was very ill all through the last pregnancy, and had a stint in hospital with Belspalsy at around 6 months.
She has been told it "might be a boy", do you know what your having JHA,?
I would love to make something for the baby. (Your one I mean). Naturally I will be making for Twin2's.

PS, Ds's Moped won't start. His Dad is due to take a look at it tonight. We have left it at DD1's (Biggest of mooloo's). We are hoping that it will be fixed ASAP.

    Hi Shaz,
I hate it after all the poking and proding around.!
I am sore enough today. But I did manage a walk to the villagehall. Only around the corner from me. I stayed for tea and cake, My breakfast!, and then we had a birthday dinner, so it was Turkey and Ham pie, potatoes, brussels and parsnips followd by fruit crumble. Even a glass of wine all for £3. (Well £4 with the morning tea and cake).
I have my back to work interview tomorrow. For some reason I thought I was going today at one stage, but its tomorrow.

I have managed to clear the backlog of the twins dirty washing, most of it is dry, just the last line full is out there finishing off. Its such a lovely day its made it easier. I will take it all back to them tomorrow, and remind them that I am not running around afterthem on any other day this week. I am hoping to be well enough to go to Oxford to see BF this weekend.
DS has been snacking on biscuits while up on his Xbox so he is not hungry. I am definitely not hungry.
There is an art club on tonight at the village hall, starts at 7pm. s its so lovely I may just go for a walk down to see what it is all about. Not that I am an artist at all, but they are just a group of people sharing and learning in retirement.
I have to go to the post box which is just passed the village hall so its not an extra trip.
Have frozen 3 containers of stewed apples, and still have masses to do as they are just everywhere. Trying to pick them off the tree before they fall, but I cannot reach anymore now. DS will be able to reach a few more than me, but we dont need them. I have apples everywhere. Apple and Ginger Jam back on the menu to make on Thursday then!.
Right I better go and check whats to do next. Take care all.

  • Mooloo, I saw a battery operated vegetable peeler in Home Bargains this week, I think it was £5 - it may be helpful with all the apples?

Amazon have something similar for just over £7 with free delivery.

Mooloo re your pain-have you ever tried arnica? I use the bath soak and gel when my back is playing up and I do find it takes the edge off. I bought a huge size off QVC but I know they sell smaller amounts in Holland and Barret. I would be happy to send you some decanted into a small bottle if you would like to try it without spending anything-just let me know as I cannot imagine how miserable it must be to have constant pain.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
