When I had eaten my dinner, at around 10pm!!I decided to start sewing again, and I finished the little nightdress that I was making. So it was 12.30am by the time I went to bed.
DS did not get home this morning intime for his connextions meeting. Infact he only just got home about 15 minutes ago. I blew my stack. He cannot see that he is doing anything wrong, and he just answered me back and told me I was wrong and I didnt understand.
I cannot see how he can be actively seeking work, if he is not getting up until mid day. Not coming home for days, (wearing the same clothes too long is not ideal for searching for jobs/courses / or what ever.). He doesnt seem to understand that I love him, and I worry that he is in a ditch somewhere!!!!!
I really feel like throttling him sometimes.
He is upstairs on the telephone now. I told him to call the man from connextions and then his Dad, as he rang this morning looking for him.
His Dad told me that twin1 has left her baby with twin2's BF, and gone with that friend I dont like to get a tattoo!!.
I really donot understand my family anymore. What about bills, and debts???? What about the money they owe me?
Steam is coming out of my ears at the moment. And my laptops key pad is knackered and I am finding it frustratingly slow to type.

Perhaps not one of my better days.

Try and keep your chin up Mooloo, we all have issues with our kids. It seems the older they get they don't get any better.

Your right. I need to cheer up. Long day, and got even more depressed by the state of the twins rooms in the lodge.! I just am horrified at the mess. Even one of the babies picked upsomething and handed it to me sayin "scusting".For disgusting!
I am just so frustrated that they have all day and cannot even keep one bedsit clean and tidy!. ITs not fair on those babies.
Right I am going to put the hot water on and have a hot soak, have a glass of wine with my dinner and say "sod the lot"

I hope the day got better, I too would have blown my stack.

However, I suspect that they don't prioritise paying back the money they owe you, because they don't think you mean it when you say they will have to pay it back. And then you lend them more, because there's another crisis, and so it goes on.

You may need to go down the route of asking, every single time you talk to them, "How much are you paying off this week? You still owe me £x, and you didn't pay me anything last week." You will sound like a cracked record, and every time you DO get something you will have to whoop and leap and go slightly crazy, but I have sometimes found this approach helpful when I've needed DS3 to do anything.

Well I am hoping that the day will be better then yesterday.
At least the sun is shining.
I bought some Jam sugar in Mr. T. yesterday so that I can make some plum jam from the abundance of plums in my neighbours garden, (I have been given permission to use them).

Didnt get around to doing any of the things I planned!. Ended up at twins places blowing my stack. The social services were just leaving when I arrived. So I had a word with them about things. They are worried about the state of the place.! Ha so am I!. I told them they need daily help.! Even if its just someone coming in and reminding them.
Anywaywhen I went into twin 1, s it was better then yesterday,(but still very bad).
I went burzerk with the state of the babies cot, and gave them all a lecture, and sent the mums to bath the babies. While I used the dust pan and brush on my hands and knees and swept the floor, then I washed up the dishes, showed the BF the order of things. Dissinfected the sides, and the high chair, and told them that if I come back tomorrow and its a mess I will go mad.
I have brought back two duvets that stank and am washing them in my machine. I told them tht they must get tokens tomorrow and use the washing machines there. That thy must sort out the washing into piles of what can go into the machines an what they will have to wash by hand.!!
Twin1 would not let the social in to her room, so it is really bad. I didnt go up there, as by the time I had done twin2's place I am worn out
I had to go to the parts place for my car bits, as it failed its MOT, and the parts are going to cost me £177 and thats not counting the warning on the exhaust and the rear tyres. And of course I am just lucky that Biggest of Mooloo's BF is going to do the work for me.
I am going to have to pull my horns in about everything else, and cut out any more spending on materials etc until I can get to sell some of the things I have made, other then the one cushion that sold!
Now I am going to have dinner as I am not going to wait for DS anylonger!!

Made my first Jam, from next doors plums. I didnt have a thermometer so I have had to "wing it", and just hope it works. I doubt it will be around for long, if its OK as the kids like jam.
Its very early for me, but I woke up needing the loo, came downstairs, and moved the washing on while I was down stairs, and curiosity got me to try the computer, as I wanted to charge up my sat-nav. Last night the computer switched it self off and would not come back on. To start with it was the same this morning, but I took the battery out, blew it, rubbed it, prayed to my angel for help in getting it working, as I knew I could not afford to get it repaired or replaced if it was completely dead. Put it back together again, and hey presto it worked!!! Scared as I dont know what caused it to just switch off on me last night, mid search, and I realised that I would be totally lost and out of my depth without access to the computer! It is my link to the world and all of my friends on here.
Also how could I start to sell anything on the internet if Icannot get onto it,??? mmmm

My next hurdle is to find the maintenance money for the timeshare (money pit) that hangs around my neck. Whether I can go or not its maintenance has to be paid, but the cost each year has gone up, and up, and it is now pence short of £1,000.
I managed it last year, by the skin of my teeth, but this year? I am late in paying it, and am being reminded it should be paid.
I think that I will need another prayer to my angels, and a miracle from above.
Could do with winning the lottery. Except I dont usually do the lottery!!!

I am not sure if it is worth me trying to go back to sleep now, as its 6am, and I am usually up in an hour anyway.
I shall go back to bed, and give it a try. Just take my tablets first, so that they are able to start working, and I hopefully won't be so sore.
Doing the twins carpets on my hands and knees with the dustpan and brush is not such a good thing for my arm, neck or really my knees come to think of it!.
    Take care

Hope you feel better when you wake up again Mooloo.

Can you come to an arrangement about the timeshare maintenance? Or can you sell the week(s) on if you won't be going this year so you can make some money to cover the cost?

How about making some 'sausage dog' draught excluders with your rags etc, you could sell them, especially if they actually looked like dogs (ears, eyes etc)

  • Hi Mooloo, how about making the draft excluders as suggested above along with other more simple, but effective winter gifts? You could also make the heat bags that go in the microwave etc and doing a few of the bigger Christmas fairs, which tend to happen around November time. If you keep it simple the time involved in making will be less and hopefully your initial outlay won't be too much, but potential profits could be great. Good luck. x
