My afternoon has been taken up with a lac review for the boys. To start with it was not sure if I was going to be allowed in, but then as I was there to support Twin2 it was allowd. Apart from the time when they discussed the other grandparents. Incase I was to cause a scene or a problem etc etc. Ha. I already know an awful lot about their File with the other authority, that has now been forwarded.

It took 3 hours. The SW had not got a clue as to what was going on, and they couldnt even agree that there was a Care Plan in place.
this was the 3rd LAC review. The chairman was not happy and has told SS that he wants the reports etc within 2 weeks. or it may jeopardise thier case in May.!

Anyway I am exhausted and just want my bed.
DS has had the care of DGD for the afternoon, dispite not being well. so we are both ready for sleep!

I have another LAC review in the morning. This time for DGD! Can i stand the strain? Who knows.

Twin2 was very emotional, and I was fighting back tears today.
The playgroup had pictures of DGS1 at play but we are not allowed copies of it, as there are other children in the background. Dispite the parents agreeing to the children being filmed. So I am frustrated once more.

    LAC Review 2
Just back from the LAC review for DGD.
Again stagnation has been the problem, and lack ofcommunication between departments.
Still the "promise" of a cheque, but no sign of it.
Proceedings for the Special Guardianship should hopefully start to happen now.
    Everythingelse was OK.
There has been some communication problems with my Sofa Order, and am awaiting that information call back.
I have chased up the housing department and hopefully, when the Gas Safety Check has been done today, we can get the keys tomorrow afternoon at 3pm for the house. So I will not have to cancel any other things.
    Fingers crossed.
The court case tomorrow is at 10.30 so hopefully I will be all done and dusted and back intime to get my keys before the office closes for the weekend.

I have a stinking headache, and I really need to sleep. So I am hopping that I can get DS to keep a bit of an eye on DGD for me now.

I managed to get 45 minutes rest but not sleep, before DGD invaded the room. DS is still not well and struggled with her.
I have been trying to get the heatpad to relax my shouldersand take away the tension around my neck and head. But its slow to work.
The headache is fainter but not gone.

Its time to make us some dinner.

I did text the BF and suggest we went away for a break in january for his birthday, (the big 50) but his reply was that I NEED a break, to book a cheap flight and go somewhere warm, but not to consider him. This has upset me, as I dont want to be on holiday without him. Sentimental fool that I am.

Well barring a Gas leak, today we get the keys to the house.
This morning, I am running late once more. I have to take DGD to her Mums a bit early for their Stay and Play.
Then dash across town to take twin2 to her court case for the boys about 45 mins drive away.
Hopefully it will not drag out quite so long as the LAC review did.
this afternoon I collect the keys at 3pm. and then get across to Brackley to the new house for letting the carpet fitter in to measure up, at 4pm. Hopefully it will all go to schedule for once!
Molly is going to come over and see the house then.

I just hope I have enough "spoons" to get me through the day.

  • Are you parents home at the moment? Can anyone else help to take some of the strain off you today? I hope that you manage to get through the day without causing yourself too much pain & stress.
  • Hi Mooloo, did you get your keys to your new place yesterday? I hope that all went well with the LAC review. x

    Hello,
Mooloo asked me to update as she is busy busy and also does not have her internet connection now as its been transferred. I do think it she will have the use of a dongle soon though.

Mooloo got the keys yesterday evening and I went up the road the see them. How nice was that? To be a two minute drive away! The house is wonderful (in my opinion). Its been renovated to a really good standard - all new kitchen and bathroom which are modern. They have fitted adaptations for Mooloo including a shower and the bath is low enough for DGD. The best thing though is that it was wonderfully warm as the new Central Heating was running very efficiently.

The garden will be cleared at a later date but that's ok as its on their list to do.

Everybody was really excited and Im so pleased for Mooloo. I think this will herald good things. I dont think the court meeting went well for Twin 2 earlier in the day so this house will hopefully become a haven.

I think Mooloo has lots to do today with organising sky etc. Dont overdo it my friend xxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
