Don't worry about giving her an earful, as Jackie says that's part of normal childhood. Also, don't stress too much about the wet bed. She's just getting over a bad cold, she can't get out of bed on her own, there's a lot of stress in the house at the moment and all that can have an impact. Just get the rubber sheets sorted out and keep calm and carry on and remember how well she's done..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I have some of those Pyjamas pants sheets. Will stick one under the sheet. Its the duvets that are the difficult part somehow she always wets them.
GOOD NEWS FOLKS
I GET TO VIEW THE NEW HOUSE ON FRIDAY MORNING. YIPEE:T:T
TAPE MEASURES AND NOTEPADS AT THE READY.
Then apparantly the house is mine the following week.So its all systems go to get the flooring sorted out, and then the curtain rails. Then get them up as soon as I get the keys and run up some curtains if the ones i have do not fit.
The twins will be 22 on Friday. Still have to sort out thier cards and a little something to open on the day.
Thats a job for tomorrow then.
I have a headache at the moment. So I am going to have to rest up a little, as I will need to take some extra painkillers which usually sends me a little gaga!. No more driving etc.
DS looked startled when i knocked on the window of the flat he is stopping at, handed him his uni pass, and bus pass, and a note, told him I was not happy and walked away.
He tried to say that I hadnt got in touch, but I have the text messages on my phone that we arranged to meet, that were passed between us on Friday.!
Boys!
Biggest of Mooloo's gets her scan tomorrow! yeah :rotfl:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Oh I think my luck is changing.!
Was looking on Freecyce and a gas cooker has just come up. So I am going to look at it tomorrow morning, afte my accupuncture, while DGD is in Nursery.
If its suitable, even for just now, it would be a bonus, as the cheapest cooker I could find was around £285. Fingers crossed. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Fantastic news about the house and fingers crossed regarding the cooker xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Grab the free one if it works, and don't forget you will have to pay a Gas Safe registered fitter to fit it..................

Yes, I shall look in the local book for a fitter. I did know one that works for the gas board, but I havent seen him around for a while, so I will have to use the local Village help book. But thats still got to be better then nothing, if its useable. Comet charge £90 and Dixons £74.50 to install their cookers. So it would not be much more I would hope.
I also found another carpet and cooker quote, that would be £120 for the carpets and £45 for the cooker. So I will see how it all looks when we are out of here, as I have till newyears eve to sort this place out. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Good news at last and also that you will then have until NYE to sort out the cottage. It is always easier to do this when a place is empty. Onwards and upwards now!0

Mooloo, ask the housing association if their gas fitter will do your cooker - mine did0

"I have till newyears eve to sort this place out. "
Mooloo - being the ever-suspiscious mother of three boys ....don't for heaven's sake let ds have the keys at any time - otherwise someone might have the idea of "great place for a party"..........
Great news about the cooker!0 -

Great news about the cooker!
Never thought of that, but alas he does have a key.
I doubt his friends would come to an empty house in a village where there is nothing. We will see though. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
