wow! i am finally up to date on this thread after a looong read! I really admire you, Mooloo! I am glad things are looking up after all the hard times. My humble opinion is that even though i understand how daunting it might be to move again after so many times, there are a lot of things to be looking forward to, and the house seems really good for you and the little one.
You really are an inspiration :) Keep going!

Hello alizee, you must have some willpower to have read through the mamouth thread then. The sum of the last nearly 18 months of my life. I presume you havent ventured further back, or you would probably have lost the will to live!.

I am mad more like, rather then inspirational. I wont ask how you came to fall over my thread.

I suppose i am humble that you have.

I guess I will be starting a new chapter in a few weeks time. I am not sure if this is the time to start a clean sheet or on the day I actually mmove into our next and hopefully last abode!
(Well for me anyway, its just a step for DGD and DS).

I always feel that I do not manage to do what I want to do, what I should do, and end up "fire fighting!).

Lets hope that this time, I actually get it right!
Well I can try anyway. :rotfl:

When you're up to your ears in alligators it can be difficult to remember you're prime objective was to drain the swamp :)
and don't forget, not trying means never succeeding :)
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

    Hi Mooloo,

I've not posted for a while, but read almost every day. I am so pleased that you are getting a new house and it seems to tick a lot of positive boxes, especially the garden.

I think that is sounds great, so it's just a matter of doing a bit at a time as a lot of others have said.

It'll be a lot more secure for you as well if it is a council property, as you don't have the threat of a landlord selling it from under your feet at any time.

My best wishes as always. x

Thankyou. Thankyou everyone for all the positive thoughts.
I will take them with me off to bed instead of the negative thoughts!

I have been trying to follow a system from Orgnised website, about sorting out a plan for the housework etc. (First things first) to get the day to day stuff back up to scratch. I hve taken a few days o get the system set up, paperwork and tools are now ready for action tomorrow.
Actually the only two rooms that are really not up to my wishes are the bedrooms of DS and mine.
DGD's was sorted out on Friday morning, and the toys etc were sorted out yesterday while she was at Biggests.
So now I mostly have some clear space, my mind can also declutter, and I can see a way forward to getting my home organised and my packing/sorting etc started.

Well its way past my bedtime, so if I want to be up, and get DGD to Playgroup in the next village, then I better get off now. xx

Morning, a lovely sunny one here at the moment.
Just about to tke DGD to Playgroup,
Twin2, who I havent heard from in ages rang at 7.50am, guess what that was about? Of course, can we borrow the busfare to go and sign on! Only time she calls me these days is if she wants something. Well I am going to pressgang her and her partner to help me for thier "interest". At least he usually makes her pay it back.
And then its back to my index cards for the housework.!

i use a chart system in my house for housework, its got all the weekly/daily jobs listed by room, and whoever does them intials it, created in excel and just print off each week. I also stick a list of all the bigger individial jobs on door to each room to remind myself. Wonder if something like this would help? Happy to send you what i created and could be ameded to your own needs.
