  • Mooloo I signed up to this site a while ago.

It is a bit like fly lady but it just has one 15 minute task a day such as sorting out 1 drawer. It runs in themes for each area of the house one theme at a time. I don't follow it slavishly but it is a good reminder sometimes to use just 15 minutes I might have spare to do something useful and the results are slowly beginning to show.

I was struggling to get the motivation to clean the house, make beds etc before visitors arrived (I would rather be on MSE checking how everyone is :D) so I set my kitchen timer for 30 minutes, worked until it went off, re-set and played on here until it went off and then repeated. Amazing how much more I got done in 6 hours this way than I had the whole day before!

Yes when I am fit enough todo things, its not so bad. Much better today, then all week.
Maybe its the health crystals that Molly bought me! I would like to think so anyway.
Been on the internet far too much today.
Started to buy bits on Ebay. Far too addictive.
Now I need the reverse mode and get the selling learnt!!!!!! What is stopping me? Ignorance!.

Dug up carrots, last of the potatoes, beetroot and picked even more courgettes.

DGD scared the living daylights out of me getting plasticine stuck up her nose! Was expecting a trip to A & E, but he sneezed and we got it out! Scarey scarey though as she had pushed it up with a chopstick!!! Dont ask!!!

Started to do a few other jobs, washing, drying etc, and managed to start cooking some of the apples from the garden.
And thinking about what needs to be done forChristmas planning. Thanks to that website!!! oops.

Shaz cannot open link, but my laptop is running very slowly indeed today. And seezing all the time!

Xfactor I suppose! No wine in the house, so orange juice perhaps.

Glad you are feeling a bit better today Mooloo :)

The hardest part of selling on eBay is taking the pictures and working out what to say, the rest is fairly easy if you just follow the screens.

I managed to poke a baby conker up my nose as a little one and that did get me a trip to casualty (as it was called then) :rotfl: No lasting ill effects, but thank goodness you didn't have to go at all!

When Biggest of Mooloo was about 4 it was the little black end of a biro! She had pushed the pen up her nose, and it stayed up there! That was drama, and she was non too keen on the rather large male nurse/doctor getting it out!
DGD is sitting at her little table and chairs watching tellitubbies, getting up and dancing with them, but the funny part is that she is currently sporting the latest fashion......swimming goggles!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Wish I could post a picture, but obviously cannot! Pity :D

Time to hang the washing out, while we have sunshine and wind.

  • That made me Lol. When my DS2 was little he would shove rice crispies or sugar puffs up his nose, we always managed to evacuate them, but one time we did end up in A&E as I could not get one out. The shame!! He was only about 2 at the time. Then he decided rolling loo roll into wee tiny balls and stuffing it up was funny. A and E twice with that, but it did finally put a stop to it. Then last year at the age of seven he stick a Skittle sweetie up his nose, he had been pretending it was a bogie to his big brother, what a palaver that caused, and yet another trip to A&E. He has finally learned his lesson now, though. Hopefully DGD will learn a bit quicker than that. :)

Right, the washing is on the line. (and another lot is washing away.).
I am going to brave my bedroom, and start to tackle one of the sets of drawers (there are 3,or actually no there are 6! if you count my sewing and bedside lockers! oops). I may be gone some time. Going to see if DGD will join me, if I put her Video on up there, and /or take her colours. Fingers crossed, as I cannot leave her to her own devices down here!.
Black sack to the ready. Cup of tea in hand.. off I go.
