Really sounds like a dose of the terrible twos with DGD Mooloo! She sounds briht, spirited-and grossly normal lol. I didn't enjoy that age (up until about three and a half ) with my DD at all as she was SO STUBBORN, whilst my 2 boys both sailed through that age like little angels. Just continue being very consistent with your boundaries as that is what she is needing and make sure her mum is consistent when she has her or you will be played off one against the other. So sorry to hear all of that caused you some bodily injury. That little'n needs to pick on someone her own size!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

But I know that twin1 is waiting for the bankmanager to get back to her, about her overdraft? She is due her benefits tomorrow, so I fear that two weeks worth of money for her to live on, will be swallowed up clearing some of that off! So what will she live on? Well its not going to be money from me, as I have to put together £200 for my car insurance. All quotes are around £195 upwards at the moment.
I am sure that there are limits to what can be taken from benefits to reduce an overdraft, possibly the situation I am thinking of is where someone has more than one account with the same bank, I know then they can't take all your benefits from one account to pay off an overdraft on another one.

Does anyone else know better what I'm trying to say?

She is "spirited" at the moment. as in there is a demon within:eek::rotfl:
She looks like :A and behaves like a  !!devil?

Molly and her daughter have been over to see us this afternoon, and brought me gifts of plenty of clothes for recycling/upcycling and or just using. !! Felt like christmas.

The people from the market rang to see if I was going this Saturday but I said I will leave it till the last one in the month, as I need to get my stock sorted out.
Cut out a little dress from a pillowcase before Molly came, but my arm is not going to let me do much more for a while at least.

    Cooking our dinner now.
Hoping that tonights bedtime will be less trouble!
I shall be in mine not long after DGD at this rate.

    Still nothing from DS!
Twin1 said that twin2's Bf is going to go to the bank with her tomorrow. Lets see if he can help. SEP!!!!
Twin2 wanted me to take her to see the boys tomorrow but I already told her I have the OT coming over in the morning.
I also have a few bits of paperwork that will need attention, so I have earmarked tomorrow for that.!
She said that she didnt have the bus fare, again I said, SEP I havent either!.

Oh thanks Shaz, things that are so simple to do!
I shall have the best dressed granddaughter at the nursery! Except they only want play stuff, as they do messy play!

Bath and bed time at last!

I think you mean 'The first right of appropriation', but twin1 may be a little late for that , if money is due tomorrow

Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

    Oh Gizmo thanks.
I have telephoned the lad who is going with her and said to him about this right, and that we can get a letter to them tomorrow if necessary.
I am not sure what we will gain but its worth it. (as I am not going to be able to help her financially this week, for certain. ) And I am trying to do my SEP but cannot always standback without offering advice. (just not funds).

My first dress from a pillowcase has been made, and I am quite happy with it.
Exhaustion has set in, so its time for bed.
    Night all.

Morning, sluggish start. Was over tired yesterday. Ah well at least I achieved something.
We are having a late breakfast. DGD slept from 8pm until 7.15 this morning. So that was good. She also did her wee in her potty, even though I had put some pullups on her. (after the wet bed the night before). So thats a positive.
She was playing quietly in her room for about 20 minutes as well. Which I didnt mind. I just lay awake listening to her, and ready to intercept.

I am waiting for the OT this morning. See if they can suggest things to help me.

Hopefully twin2 will have got her bus to see the boys,
her BF will go with twin1 to see the bank.
DS will have to wait till I am ready to come home. it was after 9pm before he said he couldnt get home, and i said he had to see if he could stop at one of the twins then, as I wasnt going to wake up DGD to go and get him.!
See if he gets intouch this morning, or if I am chasing around, (on the phone) trying to find him before her bed time tonight.!
I hope he has some clean clothes at one or other of the girls houses,(if he could find them) or i will need some airfreshner in the car, or the windows open wide!!! Yuk teenagers.
Twin1 is going to sign on at Northampton College tomorrow morning, to do her GCSE's she says. That would be amazing. I hope that she does, but I am not sure she will bother after the initial enthusiasm wears off and she has to get up in the dark to get the buses! we will see.
Obviously I am being very positive towards it with her.

The OT was here about 9.30.
They are going to write to the landlord about fitting rails, in the bathroom and on the stairs and at the top of the stairs. Then get me a shower board, and a camode! Oh dear, I do feel old and useless now. I realise that camodes are not only for the elderly, just I remember the one in my Granny's bedroom!mmmmmm
Then she also thinks that I ought to look into the use of a stick, especially on my bad days. Even though i would need to use the opposite arm, (due to the left side being the wonkyside of me, not being able to use my left arm to lean on etc etc). I suppose the time has come to be practical and not be stubborn!. Feeling a bit depressed by it all at the moment though.
