I was thinking more along the lines of the duvet cover!:D
Oh dear! well where theres a will, theres a way they say? Need to be sexy satin ones though? Chocolate brown, and sensuous? Evening gown for the next decade?? :rotfl:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Morning, feel very tired today. Been awake with DGD since just before 6am! eek. We did play around for a while, hiding under the duvet with the teddies and away from the "monster"? She has an amazing sense of humour as well as a good imagination. Mind you she woke up crying, and when I went into her, she said it was "the man was driving" ? Goodness knows what that was about? I told her not to worry, Granny would do the driving now, and she seemed quite happy about that.
Got her Mum to take her to the park yesterday afternoon, and she also took her to the shop and bought her a comic. Disney one with a water pistol in it! She wants to play with that at the moment. Trying to explain that its too early in the morning to be outside playing. But she said, Well the Suns awake so its morning!! Yep its morning, but EARLY... So she has settled for a video of the Wiggles at the moment. We are getting the songs and the actions. That will wear her out a bit!.
I am going to get her mum later today. Then on Sunday I am going to get twin2 and her BF. Invited them to come to Sunday lunch, and to help me to do a blitz. Taking their stuff, and some of the things that we need to store, that can go in their attic.
So I will need to go to the shops for the meat. Have plenty of vegetables in the garden. Fresh carrots and peas, they can help pick at the time!!
Not sure that there will be enough potatoes yet as I put them in quite late, and I only used old potatoes that were sprouting so they may not produce much. (But what ever they do produce is free!).When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I managed a NO today.
Twin1 went to sign up for her college course, and when she got there they said she had to have £50, which ofcourse she doesnt have.
So she rang me, and I said, that I cannot help her. Feel a bit mean, but I honestly dont have £50 spare at the moment.!! So she said, thats ok, I was only telling you! (mmm no, she was asking me to "offer" to pay, by telling me. If you get what I mean.)
Biggest of Mooloo is on her way to Disney land Paris, to dance with her Dancetroupe on stage! Wish I could have been there to watch her. We had to surfice with a dress rehersal in the town hall!. Ah well.!
Molly and her daughter are coming over soon, and we are taking DGD to a play place in Banbury. Should be fun for her. If she isnt too tired!. Perhaps she will have a nap in the car on the way over.?When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
We had a good afternoon at the Play place in Banbury. Molly's daughter was brilliant with DGD, and she wore off a lot of energy. Falling asleep in the car on the way back. Then she went to bed for another hour. We had to wake her. She didnt like that much.
I collected twin1 afterwards, and she is here for the weekend. So I can have some help for a few days. Going to get all of the family helping me this weekend. Turning the tables. Instead of me doing for them, they can do for me!.
The car needs cleaning for a start.
The Garden needs weeding.
The upstairs needs vaccumming, etc etc.
The cupboard under the stairs needs clearing, and the cupboards in the utility are need attacking too.
So I can keep them all busy. That would give me a fighting chance at gaining back my home. Anything beloning to the twins can go to thier respective homes, and my Christmas tree etc can be stored in the loft of twin2's. (I dont have a loft, my roof comes down half way down the walls.):D
Right this evening I am very tired, and I will aim for an early night. I shall take my cup of tea and my book up to my bedroom, then the kids(adults) can use the laptop to watch thier DVD's etc and of course DGD can go to bed soon, but her Mum is happy to help there.
I have lots of ideas for sewing, and lots of things to make to get some stock ready for the next market. Not doing one this week. Said I will go once a month. That still means there are lots things needed to be made, and I need to do it more on a regular basis then I am doing!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Mooloo,
We had a lovely time too. DD is just off to bed as she is "exhausted" after running around all afternoon. No stamina these girls  Anyway she enjoyed it just as much. I arrived home to a front room full of teens playing xbox so shooed them out. Hope you manage to get a break this weekend because you look tired my friend xx
Oh I have cooked and eaten beetroot and it was yummy and my Guinea piggies enjoyed the carrot tops xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Yes I cropped the picture and replaced it.
Protocol etc really gets me at times.!
I was the first to wake today. DGD woke about half way down my first cup of tea. I have taken her down stairs, and woken Mummy who was asleep on the sofa. No longer have a spare bed for her in with DGD, as DS has the bed in the dining room. But she doesnt stop very often now anyway. SS interviened. But this weekend I am gathering the family around me, as I need some help around the home, and also as I really need to speak to them, about my health etc. and aim to explain to them that they need to help me, and not the other way around now. Whether they will understand is of course another matter, but its got to be done, if I am to care for DGD, I cannot waiste my energies running around picking up the pieces behind them all the time.!
We need to sort out where DS is going to put his clothes, and I need to re think the fact that I am used to "dumping" the clean washing on the table (now his bed) when I bring it in off of the line, etc. Its usually to save me the effort of coming up stairs with it. Because DGD follows me up and down the place, it usuallly means heart thudding moments if she appears on the stairs etc.! And no I cannot put a gate on them. Its too narrow, we have tried. Anyway, I must rething the useage of the rooms, for DS and for the way I am sewing now. etc etc.
Its early and I have been sitting with my tea and reading.
Think I just want to finish off my chapter in my book, before I launch myself into the day.
Its raining here, and the dull start does nothing for my energy levels.
Molly, I am glad you enjoyed the beetroot.
I shall have to buy potatoes for the lunch with the family, and probably peas too, as DGD destroyed the ones we collected, or ate the others! But at least she had fun while we picked them, and she "cooked" them in her imaginative play time.:DWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Ooh just noticed that those strange remarks by "hitmark" have been removed. Good. Thought they were very weird. Mentioned it to Molly yesterday when we were out.
Someone on the supervisors is reading this lot then!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
If I have my dates right, I think its Molly's birthday today! so :bdaycake:_party_
Have a good Day.
I am still on plan to have the kids (minus Biggest) around for Lunch today. But they are also aiming to help me sort out the depths of the cupboards, and take the things that belong to them to thier own places and hopefully will leave me room for DS, DGD and myself. As we are tripping over our selves at the moment.
We are near the top on the housing lists. Between no 4 and no 9 on most and 19th on the bigger Town of Towcester. however some of the places we are on the list for, only have a handful of houses and that means that the wait could be many more years yet. Even though SS have put thier reports in requesting help.
So I need to get this place organised and sorted.
I think that the stuff I was planning to sell on Ebay, may have to be re looked at, and decide whether to Recycle it or not as I dont seem to ever get around to organising things to put on Ebay.!
I have to face the fact that my evening dresses/ and Suits really are not going to be used, and need to be weedled out of the wardrobes and give DS the space at the top of the stairs where there is already a tiny wardrobe (currently full of my suits/jackets etc and I have lots of jackets. I do love to wear Jackets! but now here in the country its not the same as working!
I cannot do all this sorting on my own, as my arm doesnt take it. Lets hope the family will actually put some effort in for me today!
(Of course I will still need to keep some things for the remakes/recycling that I am doing at the moment.):D
Tea finished, DGD is pestering her Mummy. So I have some time out to myself up here in my room. However i am feeling a need to get on with some sewing soon. While the arm is in reasonable shape and the tablets have started to work for the time being. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.1
