She scares them all off? :D

I'd be scared of the new not-afraid-to-say-no Mooloo... :rotfl:

I think I shall have to remember that one Sue! I am the not afraid Mooloo! :rotfl:
They should be scared of me. I am getting so fed up of the stupidity of it all. The energy that it takes out of us, and the injustice that my family seem to have gone through.
Why should I have been paying for things that they are supposed to do? Its so unfair that i have had to fight for everything that we have managed to achieve so far.
If I was better organised I would have gone back to see my solicitors and get the ball rolling in complaining about the treatment, and see if they could even sue them for compensation for the funds I have lost, and the inconvenience, but I dont normal come from that side of things. I am usually quite placid about things, but I really am getting so rankled. I know that all of this has added to the stress levels that are agravating my health.

If after all of the assessments etc they now say that I am not able to look after DGD then I will go balistic about the treatment etc and the illegal way they have done things.!

    Right enough of a rant.
I better check my bank account etc while I have the use of this laptop and then let her have it back. But then again, she mustnt use it until after DGD has gone to bed.! Must remember she is here to see her daughter not play on the laptop.!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Twin1 has just come (well I collected her on the way back from collecting DS from work) and she has brought her laptop. So I have commandered it immediately we came through the door, and also got her to make my cup of tea while I am on here!.
that's the spirit, and it sounds as if the Fostering SW is more than competent!

Absolutely, and your use of the computer is doubtless more important than hers.

    Morning All,
Sitting at my mothers computer. Yet again. They will be wondering why their electric is higher, and thier tea bags lower!
Took DS to his work, and dropped Twin1 off back at her place, (its on the same road, 1 mile apart if that), and now DGD and I are killing time here in the town, as we are off to see "my boys" as DGD calls them. There is an hour to go before we have to collect Twin2. She has already given me the petrol money for today, although she hadnt given me back the busfare from Tuesday.? Anyway, the SW has said my petrol money for the last few trips should be in an envelope waiting for me. Which is just as well, as the car is low on fuel again. (I did fill it up last week, on Thursday,) I have done just short of 400miles this week.!

Last night, I made another Bunting, for DGD, with her name on it. In pinks and cream. It was ready for her this morning. I felt as though I had actually achieved something. maybe I will sleep when she sleeps more often! Then I can work in the evenings.

Did I mention that there is a new village market just started? Well they sell fruit and veg, locally produced cakes, honey, cheeses etc and crafts. So I have arranged to take some of the handbags, oven gloves etc that I have made, and will be showing and hopefully selling some Mooloo items in the market this Saturday, between 10am and 12pm. yipee.
I need to make a few more odds and sodds, as I think that I need to have something with brighter colours to attract people to the table.
If I actually sell anything, I have to give 10% to the parish hall. Thats fine by me. As the things are just lurking around.
It will also give me somehing to focus on, rather then the problems we are having all the time.

I am not going to BF's this weekend. So its going to be quite strange.
The lady who is running the market is also on the Playgroups committee, and she says that it is coming back to the village in september, so I am going to put DGD's name down for that. Its still the next village up, which would normally be walkable, but for me, I am afraid I am not so sure. But it will still save us some fuel.
It is not open on a Tuesday? So thats handy, as she is in the Day Nursery on a Tuesday. So it will depend on the funding, and the hours that are avialable. Tehn I need to get her name down for the village school. I meant to do that in Aprl I think, but I never got around to it. I really have got to be more organised.! That is my scatter brained life! I really am not very organised these days.! Was I ever? Yes once I was, before all the kids were born!! he he.

HI Mooloo, I am a long term lurker on your thread. I recently bought really cheap, very colourful tea towels from a cheap shop, lots of cheap childrens coat hangers from Asda (about 10 or 12 for a pound) and made peg bags for all my sisters and nieces. I am no expert at sewing but it only took me a few minutes for each one once I got going. You could make a few bob from them maybe. Good luck with the market stall.

Plus all the expense you have had that has not been refunded to you as promised.

Thats a great idea, I was looking at some of DGD's dresses that are too small, and thinking about converting them. I try to make things out of what I have, or recycled rather then new, but I know that there are going to be times when i do want to make from new.

I am in luck today. Twin1 was being generous and has left me her laptop to use. Hopefully my charger part will be in the post soon. So I can give this back to her.

I am sure the more I sew, the more creative I will get again.! I hope so, anyway. I would like to be able to take DGD on a holiday somewhere in Sept/Oct when the prices come down.
(I would go next week if I had her passport!). Ah well, I need to save for it anyway. I have her holiday funds, but not mine- yet.

Well I have received £30 for fuel, and thats all they are going to refund me. THis is for seeing the boys, when Mum was not available, etc. Now they say that Mum must give it to me out of the bus fare money they are giving her. So this is fine. A big step forward.
Twin2's boys were looking neat, and clean etc. but DGS1, was looking a bit out of sorts and the foster mother said he was not himself and had fallen asleep in the car. The baby is looking a little over fed to me! Tubby thing. But he smiled and gurgled etc at me, so that was good.
They will be going on holiday with the foster family in August, so we will not be able to see them that week. That means that I will miss out, as the other grandparents get to see him, but I dont. Not happy but thats the way it is. I will ask if I can go on one of the Tuesday visits with Mum when they get back, but the SW is a hitler so I doubt she will let me.
DGD fell asleep in the car taking twin2 back so I doubt I will get my sleep this afternoon now. So its going to be an eary night I think. Especially when Twin2 woke me at 2am taking the matteress up the stairs! Why she couldnt stay in the dining room I have no idea. DS was good enough to give his space up to her and sleep in my chair! Cant win with her at all.
Twin2's BF has gone off to Wales today, as his granny is in hospital. So I have her bankcard so she cannot get out all the money and spend it before he gets back.! He has left her with £40 which is plenty for the food for two of them never mind just her!. The gas and electric are topped up. So he is organised, at least he appears to be. Now if they can stay like that.....

I have been invited to a Sunday Lunch at the village coffee stop, this Sunday, at 1pm So thats something to do each day that I am not with DGD or BF!.
Will be the strangest weekend for me thats for sure.

Mooloo, can you do some things just for you this weekend? Maybe a bit of planning for your sewing, and maybe a bit of relaxing, and pampering? And maybe get a couple of early nights to refresh yourself :)

I shall be doing the stall on Saturday morning, but DGD goes to Biggest of Mooloo on Friday night. Now that I do not have to go to Oxford anymore, then I have just DS here at home.? He may go to his friends? If he goes, then it will be Pamper with a hotbath etc, if my joints are ok. If I am having a bad day, I don't dare go in the bath when I am on my own.! Just incase I cannot get back out of it. I did say to DS I would take him to town on Saturday as he wants some clothes, but he is now going on Sunday with some friends so I may be able to bow out of that one.
But I have the lunch, so thats different.(if a bit religious in places).

I shall have to plan my time for sewing, as I would like to aim to have some different things on the market each week. See what sells and what doesnt to start with. That is of course if anyone wants to buy anything.! It may be a disaster!. Although I know that by experience with selling Avon, Pippa Dee etc when I was younger, that people dont always buy on the first look. But when they realise your going to be there for the longhaul then they start to bare you in mind when they need gifts etc etc and you build up from there.
I have some Mooloo postcards that I will put on the stall. and a few magnets for fridges. So we will see if ther is any interest.

I want to do things with the recycling/upcycling/restyling themes still, although no doubt in time I will make from new. But for now, I have a lot of things that I can use as my fabrics, so I want to use them up. (Accessories may need to be purchased of course).

I am excited, and nervous at the same time. What if nobody likes the work I do? What if I am not good enough etc, but on the whole the things that I have done for others around me, has been received well, so lets hope I find a few things that will interest the villagers. Its a way of getting to know a few of the people that live near me too. 14 months down the line and I hardly know a soul here!.

Evening, have collected DS from his job.So we are home now and can relax.
DGD is eating a banana and has been playing with her bricks. We had a small rest this afternoon but only for about 20 minutes.
Twin1 and 2 are stopping around together tonight. So when i take DGD to Play and Stay tomorrow I shall be taking her via collecting her mum. At least its all on route.

I was thinking that perhaps I should make some plain bunting, without wording, out of brighter fabrics/patterns and see what that looks like. But maybe not tonight.
I need to work on my leaflets? Dont even know where to begin on that one. Pity that the photos of previous work were lost on the other laptop. They could have taken up some of the space for me!.

I took a photo of the bunting that i made last night.but as I am not on my own laptop I cannot download it at the moment. I was really pleased with it, and as I was using up fabrics I already had I think that was a bonus.

I have so many ideas in my head for things that i could make, I just need the energy and the time to start to do it.

Tomorrow we meet the new(est) social worker for DGD. That will be interesting.

I just had an email from App Food to say my parcels are due tomorrow. Dam as we are out lots tomorrow. Cant track the delivery time at the moment. We will just have to see in the morning.
I hope I can manage to be here, or its a hassle to get it back!. Could do with the crisps etc that are in the order.
Right I better get on for a bit, and make sure that I have the rest of the dinner on. We have a pork curry with all the left overs and all the different vegetables that were lurking in the fridge. Parsnips and pork in a curry? oh well we will see.
