    Hi Mooloo

Do you mean power pack or charger? (i'm a bit dense with technical terms!)

If you mean charger, our charger on our laptop died so DH purchased a cheap one off ebay which was useless so I went to Maplin and brought this one
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=43515

It has different ends for different products and you can also change the voltage. So could have multiple uses.

At the time I got mine it was on offer for £34.99.

    Hi Mooloo,

I got a new one from Amazon, it cost £14.99. Either Amazon or ebay are quite good. EE, my local maplin store wanted £50 from me and they were pretty useless, but I'm glad that you got some good service at your store.

I bought a replacement charger from ebay and it was fine-I think the seller was called chargers4u. If it's the actual battery though, I think they come in really expensive.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

If it is the battery, you should be able to just take it out and use the cables instead.

Glad to be able to help, and glad you got a result.:T
I can't beleive you are having another change of social worker what happened to the last one?
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

Maybe it's because she has insider knowledge that they can't keep fobbing her off with the less-knowledgable SW's any more :)

    Hi,
Just posting a quick reply on behalf of Mooloo. We just spent a lovely morning catching up and watching my DD (17) and Mooloo's DGD having a lovely time playing with my kids old dolls house and trains. Not sure who was having the most fun my DD or Mooloo's DGD. I think it brought back some very happy memories for my DD.

Mooloo hopefully back on-line in a few days as she is getting a new power pack sent to her. She was laughing at Sue's comments re frightening the SW away! I mean you have to laugh or you would cry xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Theres actually probably a lot of truth in that - and with the mix of twin2 and the boys the case is not a clear cut one.
Hopefully the newest social worker will stick around and sort this mess out.

SWs - Unbelievable! Can you get a computer cable cheaper online? Can your daughter get a price for the wipers from someone else or perhaps she could try to get one second hand? Can I ask what make of a car she drives?

After talking to me, Biggest had a phone call, as it happens, from a friend who is going to get her a second hand wiper unit. She also has a vauhall corsa, but not an automatic like mine. Hers is actually a year newer then mine. Anyway I hope that its sorted out now.

While at my Parents I managed to get hold of HP and confirm that my laptop is under warranty, so I rang them and insisted that they send me a new charger pack! it will take 7 days. So limited access to the internet for a while.

Twin1 has just come (well I collected her on the way back from collecting DS from work) and she has brought her laptop. So I have commandered it immediately we came through the door, and also got her to make my cup of tea while I am on here!.

We called passed twin2 (her mobile phone has died a death) to see what time we are going to see the boys tomorrow, and she gave me £10 for the petrol. RESULT!

The Foster team SW, rang me, today. She said that she has spoken to my Ex Husband, cant get hold of my partner, but is seeing one of the References I had put down, this afternoon.
That my medical had arrived and she was going to read it.
She also found out by default that the worker had changed. She doest seem to know the reason why either. She has told them they have until friday to get to know the case, and then she is going to find out why they are not funding TWin1's contact to see DGD. That they are trying to get a meeting sorted out. That the worker must have a case to answer at the LAC meeting on the 28th July.

My parents have text me from France, having a good time, Still very hot there, but they are handling it. Both fine. Which is good as I worry about the two of them driving all over France but I also envy them the freedom.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
