No news is good news, Mooloo!
Twin2 has rung me to tell me she is on her way back from Wales.
DGD has had a good sleep, and I have been doing a little hand sewing. also drew up the Cravat Pattern for someone else on here.
Will post it tomorrow.
Busy day tomorrow now. For me for a change, and not for the family. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Twin 2 has been on the phone to tell me she is back.
then she has rung again asking me to see if her sister can give her a lift in the morning. This is progress, as usually its asking me.
So I dont mind asking that.(she doesnt have credit to ring her sister. I just managed to get her at work on Skype).
The father of DGD has contacted the social services asking for contact. As he is not on the birth certificate he has been advised to get a solicitor. Oh dear thats all we need now. He has not had any contact with DGD for the whole of her life. Why does he want to know now? When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Got enough to worry about as it is. Your so right.:D
Just doing a bit of hand sewing, gifts for a little boys birthday party that DGD has been invited to on Friday. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I was just reading where you had to list all your previous addresses and schools Mooloo. Can I make a suggestion? If you keep a photocopy of your list for future reference it won't be so hard if you need to refer to it in the future. Saves having to go over dates and places.0

Its the first time I have been asked to go back more than 5 years! All my life is a bit rediculous.
I will be keeping a copy of it. Even if its just for my family history memoirs!! how many people have lived in 39 places before they are 50!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Now you can understand the reason why its so difficult to rembember the exact addresses!. Practiacally impossible. But what I have unearthed will have to do. I cannot see the relevance of when I was very young.! Ah well then the social services are some what of a law unto themselves, and if they break their rules its ok, but if we break them, we are in the pooo!!
Oystercatcher, look out for an envelope in the post!! xxxWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Back from the morning Medical, mamogram, and a very quick stop at the village coffee stop to let them know that I am alive. Been invited to a church Sunday lunch, on the 18th July. May just go. will mean coming back from Oxford earlier, if I do go. (to either!).
I am just waiting for the "death nell?" Social Worker coming to do the assessment. Or at least start it.
Better get off of the laptop, and potter. I havent done a blitz tidy afterall? But she has been here twice already so if it was suddenly supper clean it would be a lie anyway. Its liveable!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
