Ha, the fostering team have finally contacted me to tell me they are coming to meet me and do thier assessment on me. Then the Team Manager from DGD's Social team is coming to the house to meet us afterwards, on the 30th June. He also wants to see if they have all the support that I need in place!:rotfl::rotfl:I said that I am still waiting for any support what so ever. (except the financial one I faught for earlier in the year! ).
This will be interesting no doubt. They have only got until the 28th July to sort it all out, ready for the Chairmans meeting again.

Just realised that there is a error in my Vprint order, and the phone number is wrong, so spent 15 minutes on the phone to them getting half of my stuff reordered.! Luckily they are only going to charge me postage, (Oh and a little bit more for one of the items to be on recycled paper instead of the ordinary) So I have got away lightly really as the cost of the Lawn sign would have been more than the cost of the postage.!

When DGD goes to Nursery, I will allocate some of the time to my crafting. Along with the aim to get back to making at least one thing a day, (during the week when i am at home) and at the weekends that I am not at BF's.
I failed yesterday, but I am determind that I will get better at it as I go along.!

    Thanks Shaz.
Lets hope that they help with the costings. I doubt I will be able to make £32 worth of craft stuff and actually sell it each week to cover the costs etc etc.
But I want the time to creat etc if I can

OK Mooloo - maybe I over-estimated your production skills :D - but every little thing that you make will go to paying for DGD's nursery - and it will also add to your repudation as a skilled creative artist!

Enjoy the time you have for crafting !

Thanks. I used to make a lot of money sewing many years ago, and I know it takes a while to build up a reputation etc etc. But I am not sewing to order etc now. Just going to make what I want then see if it will sell. (To start with anyway).

Well the car is in the Garage once more.! The Coil pack has failed, the sparkplugs also need changing and its going to set me back around £225 (thats the estimate at the moment.) Was advised not to drive the car as could damage the catalistic converter which is highly expensive. So I was given a lift back to the village.

DGD has gone to Biggest of Mooloo's till about 4pm Sunday. DS has also gone with her, but will be stopping at Twin1's/
I have had to cancel going to Oxford once more, but this time BF has said he will come to see me tomorrow. So at least I have that to look forward too.

Now that the car is costing so much, I am not sure what I am going to do, as the nursery fees are due on Tuesday before DGD can start. I will have to use the money I just put into the ISA I got, and maybe also borrow some of the money I lent Biggest of mooloo, back. mmmm we will have to see.

And anyway i have been over indulging a lot lately, so pulling my horns in around the budget will have to be a challenge again.
Ah well after the winter, I just had, I should be well equiped to deal with a frugal month or two ahead. At least the weather is reasonably good and I wont need to be buying logs for a while. (I hope).

Morning already. Well I went to bed around 10pm shattered.
Did wake around 4.30 put the washing machine on, went back to bed and didnt wake until nearly 9am! So a good lie in for me.
    Still feel tired though!
BF is due over in about an hour and a half, so I really ought to be tidying up, but need to let my tablets work before I can move properly.
Time to juggle the funds in the bank to make sure i have enough in one account to cover the car. (The nursery fees are to be paid on Tuesday) so that can hang on a little bit. With luck I think the foster allowance for the week will be in on Tuesday. (Sometimes its Wednesday).
Was going to have a bath and try and dye my hair roots but it will have to be a shower now.!
The sun is shining it looks to be a lovely day. Bit of gardening later maybe.
Not sure what we will eat as Twin1 raided the larder and freezer the other day, and so my menu plans went totally out of the window. Also as I was expecting to go away, there is not a lot in in the line of salads or vegetables at the moment.
Time to go. Have a good weekend, if I dont get back on line until tomorrow. xx

    Afternoon,
I am expecting Biggest of Mooloo any minute to return with DGD and DS.
Ah as I write they are here.
    Peace over.
Been out walking around the two nearest fields. Pleased with myself for walking so far!. Been gathering bits of wool from the sheep!. Now I need to find out how to clean it, and use it. Plan to use it to stuff my victorian hearts.

Nice to hear you had a pleasant afternoon. The wool will be full of lanolin and pesticide residue so perhaps the best place to find out how to get it clean would be a website for spinning. If you can't get it clean the lanolin will make greasy marks on anything it comes into contact with and the pesticide residue would be a more serious problem, you would need to be confident that you had removed it all.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Mooloo the wool makes a great stuffing for pincushions. The lanolin keeps the pins rust free and sharp.

Well I never did get back to the laptop last evening. Firstly Biggest of Mooloo helped Ds to sort out the shed, and DS wash his camoflage net. Which is currently on the washingline/greenhouse and over half of the veg patch. Then I wanted to watch the Inspector Frost so DS took over the laptop. I went up to bed at 8pm. Really tired. But I watched The Springwatch fund raising thing so it was still 10pm before I went to sleep.
I had to come down once in the night. Stubbed my toe on DS's steel toecap shoes by the sitting room door! Woke me up for a while!.
But went back until 7.30. Lay there waiting for DGD to wake, and trying to not look at the clock.! So wanted a nice lie in. Wasnt too bad, it was 7.45 when she woke.

This morning is one of the last running arounds for Twin1. I told them all on Friday that its got to stop. Not only is it wearing me out, its taking its toll on my car. This morning she has to sign on, and then we are to see the Solicitor for her. Havent got around to checking out the advocacy people yet. But after today I shall make a concerted effort to get them to deal with things for each of the twins, which would, I hope, allow me to back off more.

Biggest of Mooloo went around to give her the bus money last night, (I had given it to her on Friday, incase I hadnt got the car back), and said that the place was in a mess. So all the importance of keeping her home clean and tidy has fallen on deaf ears. This is very worrying. As it means that she would not be able to have DGD to stay for an hour or so, as of the dangers this could bring.
That also means that dispite her telling me that she has learnt her lesson, she has not. So now I am not so sure that tryhing to get the solicitors to work on her behalf will be of any use, as if she cannot keep her home clean, get her budgeting right in the little house, then she will not be able to move on to bigger and better with DGD back with her. Certainly not any time soon. She will need to have been consistantly tidy, inspected and all the other things that Social would want done, and what I would want done before i can let her take on DGD. If I cannot feel confident that she is able to master these problems then I cannot see how the Social would.
So when I go to collect her this morning. I will makesure I "need to go to the loo", and borrow hers, so that I get to go inside. As I have sometimes picked her up from the carpark, and not gone into the house. If its still a mess this morning, which I bet it is, she will need to be warned that its got to change. (yet again). Where are these support workers who are supposed to be helping her? Is she missing appointments with them, as she is out at ther sisters a lot? or here with us?
I dont want to discourage her contact with DGD, thats not the object. But its only her in her little place, Or sometimes DS, but he didnt stay there in the end this weekend?
Its all quite worrying. The last thing that I needed was starting to worry about somethingelse.
Its important that I stop things not add to them.

I need to leave here by 10am. But doubt I will be back before 3pm. I suppose it depends on how long she gets with the solicitor, and then getting back via dropping twin1 back home.

Re the wool, I shall google spinning. I had planned to do it last night, but never got my laptop back.
Having Ds home has some serious disadvantages. Like my cupboards are practically bare of all snack stuff. There are hardly any juice drink left, and squashes and I had stocked up for my usual 2 to 3 months not so long ago. I am worried that after paying out for the car etc, I have left myself quite short, (what with the fees for the nursery), and its going to take me some time before I can gather any stock again. Looks like we may have Soups for lunch in this weather!. The cereal has all gone. Only porridge left, and DGD doesnt like that. May have to use the oats to make chewy bars instead. Time to get my thinking cap on.
