    Ha ha!.
Glad to hear that! Except the old bit! at 48 nearly 49 I am already feeling "too old". Yet theoretically I am still in my prime!! Well I should be, if I wasnt so ill!. But we are not allowed to think negatively!. Onwards and upwards only allowed today anyway.
I am determind to just try and deal with the day and stop worrying so much about the whats next catastrophe that seems to occur regularly in Mooloo world!.
Now I better go and get us dressed, and pack up the car with as much of Twin2's things as i can find lurking. I am trying to reclaim my dining room this week.
Have a good day Jackie. (and everyone else.! )

Mooloo, I've just had a thought.... bear with me.

I know it's hard work for you at this moment in time in caring for DGD but I wonder whether that will become easier once she has a nursery place, and within the next year she will be entitled to a state nursery place and then off to school the following year.

I know that seems a long haul right now, but I wonder with help from the family and SS (ha!) if you could pull this off, as once she's at school you will have your days free again to pursue your own interests and as she gets older the physical side of caring for her will be much less, plus, in time, she will be able to help you with the little chores around the house you struggle to manage. You will also be able to keep your cottage indefinitely too.

See where I'm going with this? I'm sure it's something you've probably thought long and hard about already but I'm just looking at the positive aspects of having DGD to live with you permanently. I know you're probably thinking you've already raised your family and don't need to go through it all again, but if for some reason Biggest can't step up and take her on herself, which let's face it is a huge commitment for a girl of her age and would possibly have a far bigger impact on her future than if you were to have her yourself, then it might be better than the alternative.

I know you can't cope with Twin1 living back at home with you but I feel it's important she maintains regular contact with DGD so would she be able to cope say having DGD for a day/night a week at her new place, or maybe coming to yours to have her for the weekend while you go to your BF's?

Whatever you decide to do now and in the future I wish you the very best of luck Mooloo, you are an amazingly tough cookie and I know you will do whatever is best for all your family {{hug}} xxx

    Hi Mooloo,
You are doing brilliantly with your family. I agree...Tough Love....not just tough on the kids...more tough for the mum! XXX
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Well I think that I am still saine. Just.
Poor DGD has been in the car most of the morning and w will now be driving again for a few hours this afternoon.
Mnaged to pick up the post for twin2 at the hostel before going back and handing in the keys. She was short of funds until tomorrow, and not a lot in thecupboards, so rather then give her money, I "swapped" 6 of her Milk vouchers for £20. So she could get what she needed today. Then she can swap it back when she gets her money in, or I keep the token for Milk/veg etc if she doesnt. Ok so I loose out on £1.40 if that happens. But its better then funding her.
Have got her organised and sent her to the doctors to register. It took aages for her to get ready. But she was going when I left.
I have missed the bus for DS to get back to Oxford, so I am going to drive him back. I could hve made him wait 4 hours for the next one, but as I only have a £20 note left, I would have parted with that, to pay for his busfares. So I probably wont use that much in petrol, and at least I will get an hour with my son!. Not very conventional but hey never mind.
Have hung out the washing, and put more in the machine.
So as soon as DGD has finished her pizza we will be off.

Re the care etc of DGD, I have thought along all those lines. Its just that I am worried that I will not be able to fulfill all her needs. But we will see. I am waiting for SS to ring me back, about the funding, and also about their reply to the doctors note about helping with Nursery places for DGD.

Anyway, I better get on. Or I will end up with rush hour traffic.

I know you've been there before with your lot mooloo, but it does get easier when they start school. In fact I am always complaining that I don't get enough time with my daughter. She comes in from school, plays for a bit, dinner, bath, story and bed..... a bit sad at just four years old. When does DGD start school? x

DGD is only 2 1/2years old, so it will be October when she is 3. But the school only takes them in from the following September, so thats another 18 months or so!
I will have to look to getting her name down for schools, now if she is here with me. But I will probably leave it a few weeks, whie we move her mum, and get her auntie sorted out. Thats enough for anyone, even someone who is fit as the proverbial flea!:D

Actually when I think about it, I was so busy when mine were this size that I didnt have as much time with them. I was working, so they were at Playgroup or with a Nanny! Those were the days!! I had 4 different part time jobs to make ends meet! Phew it wares me out just thinking about it all now.

Well I have received some Child Tax Credits, for DGD, not from the day I claimed it thugh, from te 19t Mrch? They are going to give me £53.55 a week! That is until we sort out any Kinship I suppose. Will find out soon enough, but I had applied before they had agreed to pay me kinship.!
I tried to speak to the Social Worker, but she was on the phone, and then out, she lft a garbled message on my phone to say that she needs to fill a form in, so needs some information from me, but with an update I should have "something landing on my doorstep by the end of this, or next week!). What everthat means.

Right as we had a late meal, and then DGD slept all the way to Oxford and back again, she is not ready for her evening meal.
So we will do things in reverse today. She can watch her TV programmes and play in the front room, and I will continue to move the washingon. But put it on an airer as its too late to put it out today.

Well I have just caught up on your past few days and you have been busy! Its nice to see things going ok for you and bf being around must be a real boost too.
Great news on the tax credits- its a start in the right direction anyway! Now you are going to be getting tax credits will this entitle you to the social tarriff for your water perhaps? Might be worth enquiring with your water company!.

    Take care.
