At long last, you seem to be getting somewhere with twin 1's SW. Hopefully it won't take too long to sort it out. Will you be getting back payment for all the weeks you have already had DGD?

One other thing that struck me from your post earlier.
PLEASE don't feel you have let twin2 down today. The most important thing that you can do for her is to FORCE the social workers into action which will hopefully help her to keep her children, with proper structured support. The only way she is going to get the support she needs is for you to refuse to step in and the only way they will is for you to put your foot down. She is not equipped to fight them herself I'm sure and long term you are securing her future and her happiness. That is a very long way from letting her down:A
