There are great pieces of the chimney lining falling down into the fire place. Had to ring the landlord. What next. I think there may be birds up there/down there. That may also have a lot to answer for why our fire keeps going out! I thought it was the way the wood was, damper then the time before. etc.
Will just hope that its not to messy a job, and not too inconvenient.

:jwell the cream carpets are not very cream with DGD here!
The costs are not mine thank god, that would have been the last straw.
DGD is up in bed, but getting in and out and is not going for a sleep. Just becuase I need to get on.
While I am in the mood to saying no, twin2 rang me saying she cannot get hold of her BF on the phone. She said that he wanted her to go to oxford "under the radar" of SS to see him, and she has said NO to him. Thank god. Or I would have to do something if she did.
I have telephned the head of the department of the childrens services, and they have promised to get back to me.

    Breaking news!
I have had a return call, and they have said, it is Ok to treat me as a foster carer and they can pay me. Now they are waiting for MrJ to get out of a meeting and see about how they can pay me, and whether they could start to pay me weekly, while they work out how to pay me the lump sum!!!
SHOUT OUT LOUD THE LETTER HAS WORKED - YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
She said is that ok< and I said well it is as long as it doesnt take them another 17 weeks to sort that bit out too!!.

I AM GOING TO GET PAID -- Thank god. Somebody is on my side for once.
I may not be allowed the other benefits I have claimed for, but still have not got.
But I will be able to buy the things that I need for DGD as she is growing so fast.
Oh I am so excited to think I will be able to pay the electrc bills, and take her for days out!

That's great news, you must be jumping for joy. At last someone has listened. I just hope the money comes through quickly. At least the timing is good with the warmer weather starting you will be able to get out and about with her more. So pleased for you both. :T

Im so pleased for you - I know what this means and how much it will benefit your darling grand daughter. Really well done on your persistence and fighting spirit xxxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I dont know how much it will be, but its got to cover the basics i have been struggling without.
Oh i feel as if I have been dreaming! Can it really be true! I am so excited! But of course I still have to wait to see how they do intend to pay me. I am too get another phone call from this MrJ at sometime today. I hope, as its Friday he doesnt slope off!

Cannot get DGD to sleep, so taking her to Biggest is going to be a bit of a problem, as she said get her to sleep first so she is not grotty!!
Ha, no becuase of Biggest but because it is her partner that has her first.

What good news, see things are never as bleak as they seem. Bet you never thought you'd have the smileys jumping all over your thread today, this time on Monday! Will DGD not sleep in the car on the way over?
