Sue was only reminding of the rules, dont worry about it. She is a board supervisor. So the rules are important. We dont want to compromise people or be open to Bombardment from Mad People?? Or what ever the reasons Martin has on here.

Sue thats about right isnt it?

Laura I realise that your wanting to help me, and I am sure that if i get around to any partitions etc I will make sure you are there to sign it for me!.:T xx

Well DGD slept for nearly 2 hours. It gave me time to have a cup of tea in peace. Then to cut out my mums fabric for her handbag. I have managed to make nearly all of it, except put the lining in, and a clasp. So I am pleased. Perhaps that will give me the energy later to attempt a little bit more.

If I can get the energy to make one bag a day, thats 7 a week.
That would hopefully be a good start to stocking my "shop" on Etsy or where ever it is I end up! Car boot sale? But you get what I mean.

Right she is playing with her gypsy caravan. Wonder if she gets that interest through her great grandparents and thier caravanning experties? mmmm

I think its time for another cup of tea, and to think about the dinner, naughtily I didnt do a menu plan for March before I ordered my stuff from Mr A, and Appr00ved Foods. Mind you I have had to have a refund from the latter as they didnt have some of the things I wanted, and short packaged my order for another £5 worth, which was half my order!!!! Luckily they are very pleasant people and do not quibble. The refund will be in the bank later today, or tomorrow no doubt.
Which will give me back £5 into the kitty, so I will still have around £20 for the rest of the month to buy extras and whoopsies.
(This doesnt include the fact that there should be more if I take the nappies and toiletries out of the equation.)

Yup, that's about right, and if I'd had a bit more time I'd have pointed you to 'the rule' about that, may do so later. I'm not actually a Board Guide on this board, but it seemed better to tell you not to do it than wait and see if you did. ;) Not a telling off for anyone, just a reminder! Personally I'd like nothing better than to tell Social Services what I thought of this situation, but it wouldn't be very productive ...

Well I have dug out the bread machine, and put that on. Realised that now there is mostly only DGD and I, then it may be worthwhile. When it was the whole family nobody really got a look in, or else it was left completely. Never could sort them all out.
Chicken for DGD tonight, with some Pasta, as thats her request. Probably do peas and sweetcorn, she likes those too.
For me, its if I can defrost a pork chop, as I forgot to do anything earlier. But I want to use up some Salad I have and supose the pasta so I havent got to do too many different things. Normally have the same but there isnt enough chicken left.

DGD will be up later tonight as she slept till 3.30pm. So I am going to have to pace myself for the rest of the afternoon, as 7pm wont be collapse time today!. (well I might feeel like it, but I wont be able too!)
She is watching the science programme on CBbies. She is an avid watcher of anything that is about learning! remember folks she is not 2 1/2 yet!!
Wonder how much she will take in. She takes so much in, I find out later on.

Actually I wasn't thinking of its lack of productiveness in those terms, just that it wouldn't get us very far. Imagine, you phone and start ranting to whichever Social Worker you manage to get through to about their failure to protect the interests of Mooloo's DGD by pushing Mooloo to take her when Twin can't cope.

But they can't even confirm or deny that they know which family you're talking about, never mind tell you what they plan to do about it.

Which of course also means that they can't put their side of the story, which may sound quite different to Mooloo's version, which I have to say often has elements of "You couldn't make this up!"

It is right that privacy is protected, of course, but it does restrict what others can do when pressure is needed!

I wish what I wrote was fictional. ! alas it is not.
I have been left to cope. I do shout and holler, but obviously its not loud enough.

The sympathy talk is, We understand, but our hands our tied, we do not have the funding, or the equipement, or the resources, or the funing etc etc. Then its we have to go, we have a meeting or another call, or what ever it is.
My phone bills would attest to the amount of times I have called.
My posts on here are usually just before or after I have achieved something. Or not achieved something. My frustration is real.
Maybe in the beginning I was just coping too well in their eyes.
Actually in thier eyes I am coping well. That DGD has thrived and that when things have been achieved at the other families place, they are aware that I or thier sister has been on the visiting list!.
Today they wanted me to check up, but I have run out of Petrol in the car, so I am not going anywhere until I am sure I can put Petrol in the car.
Its also a day where I wanted a no spends day.!
So a stay at home day was important too.

OH Mooloo, I believe every word of it! No-one COULD make this up, it would sound just too far-fetched.

Now, I am glad you said "No" to checking up, but your reasons for not doing so was not quite right. "No, I'm sorry I'm not prepared to take that responsibility any more, if you have concerns you must act on them as I am not in a position to do so."

If pressed you can say that it's lack of petrol, and not being well enough to drive, and btw are they sure you are well enough to be caring for DGD since they haven't done any assessments, and having other plans, but primarily you aren't doing it because if THEY have concerns then THEY must act on them!

Heck, while they're at it, why don't they ask the next door neighbour or the postman or the milkman to pop in and see if t'other twin is OK with her chap and those children, because they've likely had as much training as you have to know whether things are OK or not!

Biggest problem is that I am dealing with two different authorities. One from Northampton, and one from Daventry. They do not talk with each other. They onlyknow about twin1 as she was also in Daventry district until September.!

Its like a bad nightmare trying to deal with it all.
I reckon at this rate I am probably better trained in the does and don'ts then some of them are!! Which is trial and error !!!!!

Time for DGD to have a bath.
She has an upset tummy cos shes filled her nappy three times today now!!!

I have to say at this point something that is really playing on my mind if there are problems with twin2 and the children get taken away who will have them? and if they are taken for any length of time my concern would be that they felt alienated as their cousin had been taken in by the family but they had not and when they become teenagers it could cause them some distress i have seen this happen personnaly mother kept 1 child and the other 3 were given up for adoption
SSue wether Mooloo gives out full names or peoples jobs she is identifiable by posting pics of herself and the children on this forum and also giving the areas the twins are living and their SS districts it wouldnt take much to work it all out if someone there was reading.
The above sounds harsh i know but this is not mooloos fight the SS should be doing the checking and placement of the children if they are that concerned for their safety and wellbeing then they should remove them or if they are not then why are they asking mooloo to check up on things?
Mooloo i have nothing but admiration for you and everything you have done for your children noone could have done more but i think that the proffessionals need to be doing the job they are paid to
